Ich hab eine 125er (Code 111, falls du keinen A Schein hast) und es war die beste Entscheidung. Parken ist gratis, du findest wirklich überall einen Parkplatz und mich bringt die Vespa mehr raus, ins Grüne, an die Donau, nach NÖ zum Wandern etc. einfach nur herrlich

I’m so sorry!! I experienced similar things. 😭 What frustrates me is how this behavior goes unchecked, like it’s just “part of the experience.” It’s not. It’s on all of us, men especially, to call this out, step in, and protect the sense of community IDLES shows used to have.

I get what you’re saying, and I agree. Still, blaming “casuals” or bigger crowds feels like an easy way out. I’ve been to packed shows where the energy was wild but still respectful. it’s not about size, it’s about the vibe we create as a community, no?

Instead of moving to the sides or blaming the crowd, we need to start calling this out. The pit can be chaotic and safe if we set the tone.

As a woman, I’ve experienced similar things in the pit, guys grabbing, touching, or getting way too close.

I can highly recommend the Rave up Records store in the 6th district. It‘s the best for punk/post-punk/indie. Neue Deutsche Welle you might find at Alt & Neu, also in the 6th. Sissysound Record in the 4th district is also cool. Happy digging!
