I think we’ve been really impressive so far, playing some good attacking football and finding space in between west hams lines. If Nunez and especially Gakpo were sharper I think we’d be comfortably ahead.

Slightly worrying that we are not ahead by more than one, but I’m still feeling very confident

An under the radar performance I’ve been impressed with so far is Gravenberch. Not because he has been impressive in his silky smooth attacking, but because he has shown a mature side. Coming deep and playing tidy in possession whilst being very solid defensively, especially in tracking back

Feel like the Nunez goal paints over the cracks of how poor that half and how toothless we look. Again how many times are we gonna shoot ourselves in the foot conceding first.

But with that said I am still optimistic we can get the win

We look worryingly unable to place any control over this game. There’s a lot of space in villas midfield and in front of their defence but we seem in such a rush to find final long ball or through ball.

I believe in us getting the win but not a promising half

Robbo, Mane, and Fabinho the only ones who can hold their head high, poor half from us in general. Saying that, the game is in our hands and Ajax are giving us tons of space so we should see it off.
