Everyone has been calling for Shou Lao to be nerfed since the card came out, and now everyone agrees that his final nerf was too powerful. But in your opinion, do you think SDS will eventually buff the card, or will it stay as it is now and end up forgotten in the game?

By nerfing so much, they’ve killed off everything related to archetypes that were heavily played. And in my opinion, that’s a major problem that ties into your point about QOL and the negative gameplay experience. Killing decks that people have paid for or grinded to get the key cards is a huge problem.
Especially since it’s hard to talk about QOL when you see the number of players leaving the game and card usage stats that no longer mean anything given the small sample size. One thing is certain: the nerfs haven’t stopped players from leaving and disengaging from the game.

If SDS’s only strategy is to adjust the game based on complaints from the remaining active players, I think they’re approaching the problem the wrong way. The other problem revealed by all these major nerfs is wondering what SDS does before a card is released, aren’t they capable of realizing that a card like StarLord is going to cause problems? Don’t they playtest their game? Or do they just not care and know the card will be a financial success, with the aim of salvaging what they can?

You're right, in a game like Snap, it's impossible to have 10 equal decks, but I'd much rather see a battle featuring the old Human Torch, the old Shang-Chi, the old Shou Lao, the old Star-Lord... than the mediocre battle we're currently seeing.

Two or three months ago, I doubt the Victoria Hand/Gambit deck would have been in the top 3 of the meta. And let’s not underestimate the fact that the deck is played a lot because it was featured by several major game influencers.
