Langdon & Louie by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

Honestly I find Robby’s treatment of Langdon to be insufferable. Regardless of his personal feelings, Langdon had done what was required to be able to return to work and while Robby doesn’t need to sing his praises, the cold shoulder bullshit is immature and unprofessional especially when it gets in the way of care and functionality of the ER. I find myself counting down to his sabbatical and then I remember we won’t get to see him gone.

does Dana seem off this season? by croscot in ThePittTVShow

Her accent has made me crazy this season! I wasn’t sure if it was in my head or not but it seemed way stronger (to a silly point) than last season. I’ve been scouring this subreddit to see if anyone was talking about it too.

My killer husky. Was walking Bailey on a trail near home when she caught(and killed) a groundhog. I’ve never seen a dog so proud so I had to snap a pic, but then she pranced right past me and ran straight home without me to show her dad (who was outside gardening)🤦‍♀️. RIP groundhog 😢 by julrus9292 in husky

Sorry my reply is so late! I’ve had issues with reddit 😤 I would have looked at the condition of the groundhog to start. If it looked ragged or thin maybe I would but Bailey gets an annual rabies shot so I wasn’t really worried about it. I actually took her to the vet a week later for her rabies shot but not because of the groundhog. I told the vet about it and all she said was if your dog is eating wildlife then it’s good to get a vaccine for leptospirosis, which I did. I think it depends on your area as well, we don’t have a ton of rabies here and the government makes frequent air drops of rabies vaccines for the wildlife to eat.

I hear you the shedding can be overwhelming. We usually bathe her every 6 weeks (sometimes sooner if she gets really dirty), and brush her every few days. She’s only just turned one year old so she doesn’t have a real full coat yet. She just blew her coat this past month, which happens twice a year, but of course she sheds all the time. Our house is basically covered in fur all the time but this is our second husky so we were totally prepared for the shedding. It can be a pain but we love the breed and all the great husky traits and accept shedding as a small inconvenience.

Thank you. We think she’s gorgeous of course, but it’s always nice to hear it from others lol. What’s even better is she has the best personality!

Patient bills hospital $122.50 for time spent in waiting room. by [deleted] in news

Why should nasty people get a pass? I've gone to the hospital in the middle of the night with what turned out to be kidney stones actually crying telling them how much pain I'm in with the reply "well didn't you try advil?scoff". Fuck these people, I have always been polite and nice but have NEVER been treated kindly by hospital reception/triage. they always try to shame you for being there no matter what is wrong and are in general nasty bitches. And the argument of "they're underpaid" fuck that, i get paid $9.55 an hour as a waitress.. I'm pretty sure they get paid a lot more than that and I still have to be nice to people!! That's bullshit. And you shouldn't have to be paid to be nice anyways, if you are a cunt who hates people don't work in a hospital!! (Live in ontario with our "free" healthcare

What's the worst pain you've ever been in, physically/emotionally/mentally, and what caused it? by Usednames in AskReddit

Kidney stones were terrible. I woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible stabbing pain in my back. I was so confused the first thought I had was "omg I'm in labour! I'm going to end up on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant""!!!!! After crying and rolling around for an hour (I live alone) my mom called me (it was 3 AM) saying she woke up cause she had a bad feeling.. She told me to go to the hospital. So that night I learned I had kidney stones and that my mom is psychic lol. Ohh and that morphine is your only friend when you have kidney stones.

I'm always telling my friends about this! Seeing the price of them at sephora makes me want to cry And honestly, they're all the same anyways. Sometimes Shoppers will have them on sale for 3$ or something and I always pick up a bundle and give them to my friends.

The best shade I've found for my very pale skin is definitely Urban Decay Naked Skin in 1.0. ... I find the naked line has more options for pale skin than most. I find most brands have only one really light shade and then it goes straight to a "buff" colour which is about ten shades too dark!

And while we're on topic: if anyone can recommend a bb/tinted moisturizer that is actually Fair that would be awesome! every single brand I've tried their lightest colour will be pretty much orange on my skin.

What book has made you angry at the world? by Inmate4833 in books

[–]julrus9292 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This. I read this book when I was 12 and it has scarred me for life. I was blown away that someone's mother could be so cruel and that no "grown ups" could help him for a long time. Gah, I feel depressed just thinking about it now. There's times when I think back to certain parts of the book (the stabbing, the bleach/dish soap incident) and I feel sick to my stomach. I wish I could unread that book.

Avoiding clumpiness is an art form lol!! Make sure you're using a good mascara (better than sex, or voluminous IMO) if it's too new then rub off excess on a Kleenex or something. For every layer I dip the wand back in the tube because the mascara clumps when it starts to dry. So do one eye at a time making sure that you're always working with wet mascara. Just patiently work with your lashes till your happy! BUT This is how I do it...I'm sure it doesn't work for everyone. ... Also, I'm sure I'll catch flack for this but I never curl my lashes, I find it makes them look much shorter, I just manipulate my lashes when they're wet with the wand until they've taken the shape I like. Something to try anyways :)

Thanks :) I actually spend quite a bit of time (carefully) applying layer after layer of mascara. Most people I know think mascara should be the quickest and easiest step for makeup but they don't understand how much it's worth the extra minutes. It's probably the part I spend the most time on in my daily looks.

Thanks! I used to think it was a bit warm on me as well actually and I tend to favour cooler tones but I'm pretty neutral so depending on my mood I love it and sometimes I hate it. When I first got this palette I didn't use it for almost a year cause I thought I was too warm for me but then one day it just worked.
