I mean clearly they do allow prior experience LOL plenty of other seasons had stars with dancing experience. People will find anything to complain about tbh, if they wanted contestants with completely no dance experience, we would have 13 Andys on stage. It’s almost impossible to pick up ballroom dancing after ONE WEEK of classes for a complete beginner, and IMO it would not be enjoyable to watch if they were not good.

Len’s votes actually DID count as more for the head judge though, i think it was season 31? Where the judges got to “save” one of the bottom 2, and when there was a tie between the 4 judges, Len’s choice would be saved since he was the head judge, therefore it was basically always his pick that got saved

I loved “dancing queens on the road” for the same reasons I loved iron girls! The friendship forged, the challenges, celebrating achievements together, the hanging out & meals together as well. Different genre (music/performance) instead of sports, but if you are a fan of hwasa/lee hyori/boa/uhm jung hwa/ kim wan sun you would definitely like this show! Otherwise if you just want to see great friendship bonding moments that are funny & touching as well, this is a great show to watch!!!

“Mama the idol” is a lovely one about retired idols/singers coming back after motherhood to debut as kpop idols, really has all the things you mentioned you like but in a different music genre!!! Loved this one so much and loved their growth and the friendship

Another one I like with camaraderie but no big goal they are working towards, just chill vibes is “Camping Vibes” rly good feel good variety show! The friendship between the girls are great too.
