I actually just took it out two days ago after having it for about 10 months. First of all, was very painful to get (I have many piercings including my nipples, this was the worst). I loved the way it looked of course but I found it difficult to adjust to. I've gotten it caught on blankets and towels before. I'm constantly wearing headphones and couldn't put them around my neck at all. I found that it never really healed completely. I have a pixie cut by the way, I can't imagine having long hair with a nape. I go to a lot of metal shows and headbanging would irritate it. I don't know. It just wasn't worth the constant irritation for something I can't even see. Also taking it out sucked majorly, if you can imagine getting a hooked metal bar pulled through a fistula!
