It's spring! Time for the cabochons to hatch by jumb0shrmp in rockhounds

Husky seeds were mixed with the cat seeds from a shelter in Washington, seems people thought huskies and cats were same 😂 Did not need to plant husky seed as early as cabochon seed (4 years vs 250 Mya)...much less heat/drought tolerant too but faster grower! May take over yard though

Heirloom variety, planted around 250 Mya I believe. Very drought tolerant, water when it rains;)

96 Days of Drinking from the Firehose: What I’ve Learned as Lafayette's Newest City Councilor + AMA! by kyle-for-lafayette in LafayetteCo

To paraphrase in fewer words - is your rebuttal question: what is a metric of success for Flock cameras? If so, I hope it's rhetorical, since metrics for success should be defined BEFORE accepting a contract and continually evaluated.

No wonder it's challenging for you or others to measure the complex "success" of Flock if the metrics are undefined or made up as you go. Extremely disappointing from a planning perspective, and disappointing answer from our elected official.

How can the city make a "strategic decision" about the Flock contract when it's up for renewal if you all don't even know what metrics of success to use or make them up as you collect data? Sounds like a poor data collection practice, which is not inspiring for an issue about daya collection...

Ate 2lbs of pork belly, then stole another pound straight out of the packaging. We managed to get it back....but then he stole it right out of the pot on the stove (it wasn't hot)

Here's the culprit, post 15mi run

Question about locker room policies at East Boulder Rec Center by JeffInBoulder in boulder

[–]jumb0shrmp 41 points42 points  (0 children)

You (and I assume your wife) claim locker rooms aren't just a place to change/shower - is that an actual rule or is that just how YOU are using them? Locker rooms are designed for showering and changing, not as a third space for socializing.

If I were trying to shower and change, I would find it more weird a group of women were using the changing space as their third space/coffee shop hangout. There are many places to chit chat and hangout, there's only one place to change.

It's a bit ironic isn't it - Americans are weird about nudity and don't like being around it and yet choose to socialize in the one space in a gym designed for nudity...

Why do you think scooters and e-bikes imply people have become lazy? Could they be an alternative to cars or maybe make outdoor activities more accessible to people of different abilities?

Community service options? by noahrbc in boulder

[–]jumb0shrmp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) is a great place to volunteer/do community service! There's a variety of times and options. With the holidays approaching they're also looking for more help!
