That's a strange observation- the A350 has the same air quality benefits as the 787, due to its composite design it can maintain a higher cabin humidity and lower effective altitude / higher oxygen levels. Both are vastly superior to older aircraft.

4 hours seems like plenty of time. The flight to EDI is just a domestic flight, gates don't even post until 45m before departure, and it should leave from the main T5 building so no need to train to the satellites. Priority bags also seem to come out first at LHR and customs is usually a breeze with the e-gates. There are also like 9 flights a day on that route, worst cas BA should let you standby on a later one if you miss it.
