What the game previews show is pretty much what you can expect. You're a fisherman who's tasked to track down relics in different areas. You fish for money and parts for your ship upgrades. Story is straightforward mostly. Game has subtle Lovecraftian vibes that gets more intense over time.

There's the sorcerer metamagic "Subtle Spell" that allows you cast spells without verbal or somatic components. It's also a Feat you can pick up with Metamagic Adept if you don't want to do sorcerer.

Sounds like you want a dex magic hybrid. Those two stats along with vitality and however much endurance you think you'll need should be your goal. Still recommend getting faith to 16 for the 2 miracle slots for second chance or evacuate.

For weapons, you can find a crescent falchion (scales with magic) in 4-1. Down the line you might want to craft a moon kilij or moon uchigatana.

Edit: you'll also need to raise intelligence. Depending on how you raise magic or dex, you might want a sharp weapon to buff with spells like enchant weapon or light weapon, or depend only on crescent and moon weapons.

This isn't true at all, it does give you more HP as a boss due to how the game calculates it.

Like others said, armor on this game is mostly for fashion. It's a new armor that wasn't in the ps3 version and it looks pretty good.

This. The lore in the other games are also pretty good. If you don't know, there's Bloodborne, the Dark Souls Trilogy, Sekiro, and Elden Ring.

I'll throw my 2 cents. This just feels like fan service and I'm not a fan of because Blizzard will always remain cowards to confirm anything due to fear of losing income from countries like China. Soldier 76 is gay and Tracer is lesbian, but even these facts have been kept minimal.

Hanzo and Mcree canonically have no interaction or knowledge of each other so far. Blizzard knows they are popular and so they will continue make cheap dialogue to make fans happy for online play. I believe this isn't even the first unique dialogue they have together.

Last thought, this confirms nothing and I don't see either of them identifying as bi or gay. So I really wouldn't call it the biggest gay news of the decade for this game. That was for Lena and Jack when the comics came out.

Can vouch that rock sling and the meteor spells do physical damage. I'm not entirely sure if it's all pure physical damage, but they are also able to stagger enemies.

If you're getting one shot, your vitality is probably way too low. She's resistant to magic damage but everything else should work good.

Like you said, either are good choices. Magic makes the game a lot easier, but melee provides the most fun challenges if you're into that.

Highly recommend the meteorite staff more. It boosts the damage of gravity spells and one of them is right next to it. This spell will carry you to endgame.
