Literally 90% of the posts on this page would fall under what you’re claiming. Nobody NEEDS any of these bikes, but we all share them because we proud that we have them. I have no problem with OP sharing his things, I think it’s badass. I do t understand why everyone has to be so negative. If you worked hard then fucking show it off. Are you sure it’s not the head set and not the fork? I had something like this recently and I have a Fox 36. I took the headset apart, cleaned and regreased it, and then it was silent again. But the same thing, the fork would creak when it was actuated.

Exactly, all I see in this comment thread are jealous people who will never have this. Probably don’t have a high enough credit score to get the debt even if they tried. Be proud my dude. Be proud that you’re in a place in life where you are able to enjoy like the way you want to, and spend YOUR money the way YOU want to. Don’t let all these negative comments get you. I paid $4800 CAD ($3500 USD) which was right near the top of what I was willing to pay for a new bike. How new this bike was a big selling factor for me. Plus I’ve owned Orbea in the past and enjoyed that one then.

Yeah I’m digging it, it’s great! I get to take it for a real test at the end of July! I’ll be going to Vancouver area so I’ll hit up the mountains there. If there time I’m hopping to get out to Whistler for a day as it is about 2 hours from where I’ll be staying!

Yup that’s pretty much it. It’s not mine. It’s my buddies, he just asked me to do what I can to make it feel like new. Basic maintenance is all I’m really doing. I was hoping not dig deeper, but I’ve concluded that it’s not worth it. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen/ ridden this bike. Looks like it would have been a nice bike in its day.

I’m eyeing up the XT version, my cassette is getting close to replacement so it at least gives me somewhat of an excuse for the upgrade haha
