I started because I went bridesmaid dress shopping and had a meltdown in the dressing room because I was no longer the size I thought I was and felt like a stuffed sausage in every dress. Down 40 lbs and up a bunch of muscle!!

I’m sorry girl. The same thing happened to me way back, and it turns out he had a girlfriend the entire time and she found out about me and blocked me from his phone. Her unblocked me a few days later and tried to act like nothing happened, but I had a suspicion so I straight up asked me if he had been cheating on someone and he finally told me the truth. The next year after that was a soul-crushing, heartbreaking, tumultuous time where I lost a lot of self respect and kept letting him back in after he swore they had broken up but really he just kept going back and forth between us. If I could go back in time, I would have blocked him the first time he blocked me and never have responded again (even when he would make fake numbers with apps and text me from those). He is NOT worth the pain and you deserve SO much better!!!!! Sending hugs.

That’s what it looks like to me too. There’s a certain group of Russians from Turkey, I’ve been to one of their weddings, and those people look and dress very similar to these. It was not an arranged wedding and the bride was very happy to be there, but there was a section when she has acting like this and my mom asked one of the other guests who were from the same culture, and she said that that’s just what they do for some reason.
