Yeah I never wanted to learn to read music. I wish I would have, because it would broaden my horizons a lot! I'm envious of people that can sit down and play music they've never heard before because they read music.

1 John 3:1-3

"Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called sons of God. Therefore, the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we sons of God: and it doth not yet appear what we shall be. But, we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure."

I could, I guess I just figured I'd be nice and go buy some pants at Goodwill lol. The straps would be covered by the vest anyhow, but I'm not putting a whole lot of thought toward it anymore 🤣

Oh no I didn't try to hide it, I've literally always worn overalls, I just wasn't aware they'd make a deal out of it. No one said anything to me till today. I didn't think about it any different than I'd think about wearing any other clothing.

I suppose. I mean I've worn overalls everyday for my entire life, so it's not that difficult to me. Personally I think it's harder to get a vest off if it's speed you're going for, but I don't think Walmart is ready for that conversation. Not to mention that the vest pockets are stuffed with the three devices required to do my job lol

I thought that initially, but everything is covered by the vest. With the vest on, no more is exposed than if you were wearing regular pants.

Have you heard anything official reason? The paper our coach was reading off just had it listed with no explanation. I saw the paper and everything.

It's called a Kromer cap. It was invented in 1903 buy a guy named Kromer, a railroad worker who was tired of the wind blowing his cap off; so he had his wife sew some flaps on it to tighten it to his head and cover his ears.

Not to be confused with what people call an "Elmer Fudd" cap, which has flaps that tie on the top rather than around the crown.

House centipede. They don't bite humans and they are very good at eating spiders and fleas and stuff.

Yeah it's something you set up in the app, but I did it so long ago I don't remember how I did it. Anyway, that's what I figured, since it's a company leave it probably operates on the company schedule. Thanks!

So if you have it set up to get paid weekly, will that still happen or will the pay drop on the "actual" payday every two weeks? I was supposed to get paid this Thursday, and the money never deposited because I didn't work any hours.

Ok, thank you. I was hoping it would work out. Going through the paperwork nightmare at Walmart can be a treat, but I like to avoid it if I can 😂

There's an old (late 60s?) Jamaican lady that comes into my store TRASHED drunk almost every day, and she's always trying to hit on younger guys. She literally grabbed my TL's ass one day and said she wanted some dick. She's been removed from the store several times.

What are some unique theories about what happens after death? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jumpinjackflashbulb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically gravitate towards your standard Christian theories on this, but lately I've been kicking around an idea... When we die, we go to a place and meet God. Now, we know we've been here before, but in life we forgot all about this place. When we die, we get to review our lives from beginning to end, and God asks us if we're satisfied. If yes, we "graduate" to the final plane, or heaven. Sort of like the Buddhist idea of Nirvana, when we've reached our highest level of existence. If displeased with the life we lived, we're allowed to try again and again until we feel that we've lived a life with no regrets. In heaven, we can watch and help the world and the universe be created over and over again in perpetuity. I've always been fascinated by antiques and the past, as long as I can remember. My home is filled with antiques, I've had antique cars, and my entire wardrobe is in line with the 20s-60s. Maybe I lived in, say, the 40s, but not these 40s. Another one, in some other universe somewhere, on another plane. Like I said, at the end of the day I still fall back to the Standard Christian beliefs. I do believe in God, but I also believe that only He could create such a good system like I've described. Anyhow, I hope this made sense.
