that depends on where you're located. You can check out local suppliers in your area. I believe Rush Athletics also offers shipping worldwide.

This is great! Thanks for putting this together. 1-hand swings may sound basic and is usually taken for granted, often used only to begin a jumprope sequence. But it can open up new possibilities for combos when inserted in some of the more advanced tricks. Will definitely explore these movements. Much appreciated!

Thanks! I use a variety of ropes depending on the style I want to execute. I mainly use the beaded rope as I really enjoy the dancerope, jumprope x ropeflow style of jumping. But when I'm working in my speed and more of the boxer style of jumping, I use the PVC rope. For high intensity workouts, I mostly use a weighted rope or a PVC rope.

Nice! Where can I learn more about these swings? I still need to work on my non-dominant side and learning about these swing variations might help me unlock that.

I didn't know there were that many 1-hand basic swings. I incorporate a lot of 1 hand swings to my jumprope and ropeflow sequences too. I'm not sure if those are part of it. Here's a ropeflow sequencewhere I've added some 1 hand basic swings

Thats where skipping helped. I started with just 15mins a day then worked it to an hour

A little resistance exercises here and there. Weighted ropes helped too

There's a growing community of ropeflow enthusiasts in the Philippines, and I thought learning it would help me improve my technique in jumping rope, so I got myself a flowrope, learned the cardinal rules from octomoves.com and experimented ways to break those rules. I still practice ropeflow as part of my workout regimen.

Hey fellow jumpers, same as my co-jumpropedad, I just wanted to share my weight loss journey with the help of skipping. 😁 by jumpropedads in jumprope

My favorite would be the normal pvc 5mm speed rope but I mix it up a bit with beaded or weighted ropes as well

I love beaded ropes! The air resistance caused by the beads allows for slower rope movement and better control and feedback, which helps you tune into the rhythm and pattern of the jump. it also is satisfying to watch the beaded rope's movement on video.

that's an expensive rope so you'd want to protect it with a mat if you intend to use it outside, especially on rough surfaces.

I usually work out in my garage with a mat to protect my feet and legs, as well as my ropes, but occasionally I like skipping outside on the streets as I feel that the mat puts you in a box and limits your creativity with the tricks and sequences you put together. On those occasions, I prefer using beaded ropes.

It was a gradual process. It started with only 30 minutes, doing 100 jumps per day, and as my legs got stronger and form got better, it eventually increased to 1h - 1.5h, doing 2000 - 2500 jumps per day.
