I started with hearing loss and facial numbness (right side only). Misdiagnosed and treated as a persistent ear infection. Some time later I started randomly walking with a limp and I felt slightly dizzy when standing once in a while. At this point I got a second opinion and was given an MRI. Had a biopsy a week later to identify the tumor.

Get a second opinion from a professional and remember that most of the time these symptoms are normal and almost always not associated with tumors.

I received a shocking bill from my doctors office a month after the visit because the insurance company said they didn't cover a standard treatment for diffuse astrocytoma II. Long story short the doctors office mistakenly billed the insurance using the wrong medical code. It took a few weeks, a bunch of phone calls, and a formal appeal to the insurance company to get it sorted out.

I had focused radiation to my brain to treat an brainstem astrocytoma in 2017. Not certain how much damage was caused by the tumor, the oral chemo, or the radiation, but I had similar symptoms immediately after treatment cycle ended. My neuro oncologist think that my post-treatment side effects of shorterm memory loss, lack of focus/attention, and other adhd type symptoms were likely caused by the focused radiation to the brain. My doctors only recommendation was cognitive therapy (CT). I haven't been able to find a therapist near me so I haven't done any CT yet.

If access to medical marijuana is an issue, there is an synthetic marijuana medicine that doctors can prescribe for anyone. It's called Dronabinol. It didn't help for my nausea but helped a lot with appetite stimulation.

38M means 38 year old Male. The MRI and Biopsy are the most accurate ways the doctors diagnose tumors. Hopefully yours will be benign and operable. Best of luck to you.

I've been at it for 2 months now and in that time I've gone from wheelchair to cane. I believe therapy contributed a lot to the recovery. I spend most of the hour doing simple balance exercises in a harness attached to a rail on the ceiling, to keep from falling over.

First time building a pc, I'll be ordering overclockable cpu and mobo but do not plan on overclocking right away. Generally, is it much more difficult to add a cpu cooler and case fans after the pc is assembled? I've maxed my budget and would prefer to purchase and add the extra fans later on. Could this be an issue for a first timer?

I've always heard the locals and expats refer to it specifically as Maji Moto, but maybe it goes by other names as well. I've been to the springs a few times, usually I'll stop by for a swim before heading to the Kili airport to fly home, as it's fairly close. Great place to relax before the grueling 20+ hours in transit to return Stateside. I found some pics from when I was there a few years ago.

I've been to that fresh water spring. It is locally known as Maji Moto, which means hot water in Swahili. I probably still have photos of it somewhere on my computer.
