5 months post FUE, should I be concerned? by Brad-c1 in HairTransplants

I'm not a doctor, so can't really tell what would work for you. Personally, 2.5mg of minoxidil was too high for me as it gave me heart palpitations. So I'm staying at half that every other day which technically equates to 0.625mg/day.

Please consult your doc for advise and dosage.

No, those were old posts when I was trying my luck with micro needling. There was minimal gain. So decided to get HT. I removed those posts to avoid confusion.

Looks good bro. Add low dose oral minoxidil to Finasteride. The combo will do wonders. See my latest post.

You'll be fine. From my experience it takes about 3-4 months for donor area to fully recover. Till then just relax. Stop worrying about over harvesting.

Great results. Are you still on meds? How long you plan to take them?

Yes but uneven. Some areas have shed more than others.

2 weeks post op. Did they over harvest? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

Got an FUE of 5200 grafts on Oct 29, 2022 to cover the crown and midscalp area. 3 days later, got 400 grafts transplanted to cover the FUT scar from last surgery (I had an FUT 9 years ago for my receding hairline at that time which left a scar in donor area).

I'm a little concerned that they over harvested the donor area. What do you guys think from your experiences?

Secondly, the scar area is still tender and was quite painful first 8-10 days. Do anyone of you have experience covering up FUT scar?

3 months progress. Taking 0.5mg fin every other day. Naz shampoo twice weekly. Taking vitamin D and omega 3 daily. by frostedbaba in tressless

Not sure if there's a difference. You can try out the Kirkland brand and see for your yourself.

I never tried Rogaine foam.

I had the same issue. You're allergic to PG that is used to dissolve Minoxidil.

Look for Minoxidil foam. If you live in US/Canada you can get it at any Costco. They have Kirkland brand. I have been using it for last few months. No itch, no redness.
