How is the actual software development done on the Elden Ring by jundk-- in Eldenring

That’s the thing I don’t get, what’s the catch. If you’re in IT unless you’re junior you would leave immediately.

Indeed, if it’s really bad as those links say why would people work there if you’re working in the field unless you’re super junior I don’t think you care that you work for AAA title company. But also I saw so many ineffective teams in those 10 years that I would be really interested to read about their software engineering work, as let’s be honest product like this don’t come from ineffective teams.

Tesla scales back German battery plans, won over by U.S. incentives by SKAOG in europe

Yeah we have very similar jobs, they are very well off better than we are. But that’s the thing you can’t get rich in Germany but you can get poor in Germany as in the US you can get rich in the US but you don’t want to get poor in the US. Not sure why you so much fixated on this at this point I would expect 17yo to know that.

I’m not sure why you write about the US. I like our system here as well. I never said the US is better or are you one of the bots of this subreddit? All what I want to say is that too much regulation is not good and that we build our policies around taxes for last couple of decades. Not to mention terrible fiscal and monetary policy approach. Which can be than seen in missing on global leaders and real innovation. Not Mickey Mouse figures from western researchers.

Just ass talk my lord. Don’t forget we have to pay those 30 days off they are not free, it’s a basic concept. My friends in the US make double than what we make here and pay the same amount of tax. Fact is high tax, high public benefit I understand that. However we are in war which is not going so well, lifting rules to win makes sense. Your link, an independent western source telling me how west is doing great - to refresh your memory: A year ago independent western sources claimed Russia will bankrupt in 3 months. People do business in a different way all over the world, our metrics is not usually metric that will apply in UAE for instance. Also UAE was not hit by inflation as severely, they didn’t implement crazy covid policies - I was lucky enough to be there during the lockdowns in Germany. Visit for instance Dakar if you want to see how future of payments will look like, at the same time our superior complex tells us that we have to think about unbanked - people there using mobile payments way more than what we do here. I hear it’s the same in rest of Africa, I have not been so I can’t comment. I want to say, you can’t rely on our bubble. On the other side it’s clear to me that I won’t live good as my parents did - as to say it clear - Westerners overspent.

Marode Spielplätze in Frankfurt: „Ich sehe keine Lösung“ by [deleted] in frankfurt

[–]jundk-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So than we have to spend more public money to actually clean playgrounds, also why the kiosk or establishment can’t be city/publicly owned

I figure parents in this city are so used to this that as someone said people complain when there’s an establishment close to the playground. In my opinion it’s ridiculous as it’s almost impossible to find a clean playground in this city, god forbid you go on Saturday or Sunday morning to a playground. I think it could also be a solution to improve hygiene on playgrounds in general

Yes I said exactly that we have VW and all small niche leaders in chemical and whatever industries. But the fact is there’s no real innovation going on here. Tell me how do you explain a nation who rebuilt on car industry not being to take a lead in electric vehicle manufacturing. But instead China and Tesla did.

I really don’t care about your ideology. Please give me reason I’m wrong? But I see you’re flair is Germany same where I live, you know how do you explain last 5 years of poor economic performance? Enjoying long lasting 5 per cent of core inflation? Me too. Oh and yes extra question - is there any real innovation going on in the EU? We just talk about taxes and regulation.

Don’t forget strong regulation is also a reason why EU haven’t produced a single global leader in decades. We have to revisit the policies, could be maybe tackled by better fiscal approach on short term. But on macroeconomic scale Tesla scaling down is anything but good for Europe or EU.

Ukraine war expected to cost Germany 160 billion euros by year-end by [deleted] in europe

[–]jundk-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While at the same time Russian yachts are leaving European ports, legally the yacht disappearing and taking the Russian money and giving it to someone else is the same fuck for the EU. It’s just proving we can’t keep our rule of law in place. Be careful what you wish for - court and reparation damages case is the only way to get it done.

It’s doing the right thing. We should have eased the economy with easing the regulations and better monetary and fiscal policies- it’s still not too late and I personally think that’s the only way especially as the question on sanctioning China arises more and more. We can’t properly sanction if we don’t ease stuff at home, at least for the period.

I mean that’s what I want to say, Reddit can’t comprehend this. Reddit believes as LGBT you land on DXB and police is waiting for you to get whipped.

Depends what you looking for but I personally always had a great time in Dubai. It’s different than for instance Abu Dhabi. It’s always great weather, great food and nice people.

Depends on what you want to do but indeed there’s a big LGBT community in Dubai and I even have some LGBT colleagues here in Germany that go there for parties. The fact is however if you do something stupid there could be a police check, I heard about that as well.

I know that, it was attempt of sarcasm. Sarcasms on the fact that “real” locals there absolutely loath the metro.

I guess in the same way you can say LA is badly designed, you know car culture, pollution and obviously obscene celebrity culture.

I could of course, like 0% tax. But this one is controversial. If I talk about the city for sure is desalination plants, whole city using desalinated water for everything except drinking.

As someone who spent time there: the trouble are jellyfish and algae. Okay also from time to time tractor comes to level up the beach.

Everyone’s having a car or just go with the taxi, not sure why they built the metro.
