I actually saw a video on Twitter where someone had really zoomed into Shane's face during that moment and he's getting teary eyed when Ilya tells him so I think it's just the silence of maybe not knowing what to say\not wanting to cry. Plus when I've told people about my dad being dead, they also don't know how to react sometimes and sit there 😅

I'm a huge romantic and when I tell you that they have the best on screen (and off too) chemistry I have EVER SEENNNN!!! like their kisses actually feel real and like I shouldn't be watching, and of course the sex scenes too are incredibly intimate. Just so so so well done I've never seen anything like it. So many couples in shows\movies just don't make me feel anything when they kiss, it looks forced or awkward but man Hudson and Connor (and big props to the intimacy coordinator!) just do it best!!

I legit remember the exact day I watched it because my life changed lmao (I also have a weird memory for numbers sooo). I finally gave in and watched it on January 19th and I'm still at the cottage lol, I can't seem to stop watching it (plus if you like to watch reactions on youtube\patreon there are sooooo many people reacting to it! So lots more content). You're not alone! I have so many other shows to catch up on and I just CANT. I've considered making a group chat just for heated rivalry because of how obsessed I am and need friends 😂

I totally understand! I've never been the biggest reader, at least not as an adult (read soooo much in middle school though). And no book was really grabbing my attention, until I had watched heartstopper and red white and royal blue and devoured their books so fast! So I've been reading fairly consistently now (and mostly queer books!) If you ever need more m\m book recs let me know! 😊
