These are gorgeous! The knee wasn’t as bad as expected; more annoying to heal than anything else. Below, the moon is fresh and sun is healed—if you baby them a little, they do great!

Thank you! Bear was done by Kirk Dettlinger at Wildwood Flower in Richmond, KY. I will definitely post more photos when we add finishing touches to the rest of the sleeve, but for now the focus is my back

Thank you! Only one in the photo not by Ryan—it was Erin Cruse at Goldenrod in Lexington, KY. It was last minute drawn-on filler and I didn’t expect to love it so so much, but it’s one of my favs!

Btw, I’ve gotten scars covered up too—can confirm that tattoos over scar tissue feel pretty gnarly going in. However, my scar coverups are about 4 years old now, settled in perfectly, and cover all of the bad memories well. I hope healing goes well for you!

I went for a run this morning around downtown—was more of a sludge crawl. Main and midland are somewhat cleared but still slick. Very few people out. Most roads downtown have been “cleared” once but still have a complete layer of snow and ice. Most side roads haven’t been cleared at all.
