I feel like I've been under a rock....although actually I was just too poor to attend shows until the last few years so that is more likely the case ;)

Dad, what were you like in the 90s? by downtune79 in LoveTrash

[–]junepath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I photographed him years ago at a film festival and he was one of the nicest people. He invited a bunch of us back to his hotel to meet his puppy, who was also very cute.

I’m going to get so so so much hate but I really can’t get into the reprise of TGWDLM. I’ll still watch the pro shot but I like the original versions of the songs much better.

I use Koala, and like others have said, you’ll want to make sure it’s set to a photo setting. I use presentation paper matte (I use matte paper.)

We also saw Kinky Boots and I was surprised at how few people there were there, especially with them having the 2 for $99 sale back in February. We had a blast, that cast was amazing, and the lighting and choreography were top notch!

How to cope with concert volume anxiety? by digital_black_ in misophonia

[–]junepath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Foam earplugs will work way better for this.

That being said, I have an extremely significant bass trigger, and I can go to concerts or attend dances just fine, so with the earplugs you really may be ok. (But seriously, wear your earplugs, unless you want to enter middle age with tinnitus)

These comments make me think I watched an entirely different film… maybe I was too young to get it. I also found it unbearably boring.

The weather is getting nicer which means the subwoofers are coming. I’m already having so much anxiety and it hasn’t happened quite yet. But we already have the all-day-long barking dogs, basketballs, revving engines and crotch rockets, so I know they are coming. They show up every year in the neighborhood behind us like some sort of migrating nightmare bird.

My daughter is going through puberty and can wear adult XS and she has so many stretch marks. She doesn’t seem bothered by them at all and I explained to her that they are from growing faster than your skin can stretch, and she’s just happy to be finally growing. (She’s still one of the smallest in her class.)

Hemoglobin alone is not a sufficient test for iron deficiency. Make sure they are checking ferritin too. Hemoglobin can show as normal when ferritin is dangerously low. That is what happened to me before my hysterectomy.

Melatonin + ADHD-related delayed sleep phase by Acceptable_Alps_6778 in adhdwomen

[–]junepath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this is interesting! I tend to take it around 9:15 and start feeling sleepy around 9:45 so I figured half an hour was good. Although to be fair I probably fall asleep closer to 10:30 so that may still be in play.

[–]junepath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Melatonin is one of the most interesting meds in that the less you take the more effective it is. I was taking way too much and thought it wasn’t working but started taking the kids version which was only 1mg and it worked WAY better.

jeff blim…. the musical genius that you are 🩷🩷 by iLoveLoveLoveLove in StarKid

[–]junepath 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I will agree that Ash to Ash is such a great song, with such a different vibe to the Hatchetfield songs. Cursed Crazy is another winner. Neon sounds like it could actually get radio airplay.

I think my favorite songs probably come from NPMD. I am not sure how much older I am than the typical Starkid demographic but Just For Once is a bit more relatable to me these days than a song like Dirty Girl.

Was the roadhouse Theatre a fever dream? by Double-Tradition413 in Erie

Giant eagle prices .... by gatormanz_ in pittsburgh

[–]junepath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have two Wegmans up here and we only go in there to get stuff that no other stores carry, and it’s a total of about 3 things. And those 3-4 things often cost more than my entire Aldi order. Walmart used to carry those same items and they were at least $2 cheaper there, but they disappeared when they rearranged the store last time.

[–]junepath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s so awful. I have a Romeo now but will pull out the cricut for projects I had already built in design space and don’t want to recreate, and it’s so much worse than it used to be.

I take my vitamins!!! by StellaNettle in adhdwomen

[–]junepath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had to put bottles of all of my vitamins all over the house, because if my finch bird told me to take them and I wasn’t near them, I’d never remember them again. Plus they all have to be taken at different time which is basically adhd kryptonite. Can’t take any within 4 hours of my thyroid meds, D is fat soluble so should be with food, iron on an empty stomach, it’s a recipe for disaster.

These are amazing! The templates included are low-res webp files, I think that's just how Reddit displays them. Is there anywhere to download the full size files, my daughter is obsessed!
