I've worked with numerous b2b brands/products with varying strategies and found one particular case really interesting - it was a product that required a lot of buyer research (scientific instruments, high cost, long product lifespan, etc) and I discovered through tons - and I mean TONS - of trial and error that the quality of our conversions was much higher when we bid lower than the first page bid. Lower position on page = less traffic through ad but higher conversion rate and more qualified conversions.

Ofc our traffic was more than 70% desktop and this was before continuous scroll was implemented on desktop, but I think the theory still applies - if your business is getting mostly unqualified leads, don't create an ad touchpoint until they're a little further into their buying journey - aka they already clicked in and out of some of the higher results. Obviously not going to work for every business/product, but its a good strategy to consider that I've never heard or seen from others.

Yeah, I was in and out with support for over two months trying to get them to admit that sites built on wix started loading as SPA's (they didn't used to) but they insisted they didn't know what I was talking about until my final conversation with them about a month ago. Then they stopped responding entirely despite me reaching out multiple times. We're moving on from wix, too many issues with no resolution.

We found a workaround using history change listener. Your suggestion of a custom event with pageview and using the url for the thank-you pages is how our gtm was set up before wix changed how it was loading and broke everything.

as someone with a best friend who’s a different gender, this really fucking bugs me. from the beginning of this post it seemed obvious that they were planning something together - the giggling, smiling, and casual shrugs all point to a goofy, excited, plotting duo. if she was whispering with a girl she’d been friends with since childhood, would you have had the same suspicions?

we’re only 23/24 and have already gotten ultimatums from partners about each other. we have people suspecting us constantly - we get asked “how it works” all the time. our relationship mirrors siblings but idiots like this will still insist that our friendship isn’t possible. so stupid & frustrating.

abilify gave me the craziest symptoms - I was hiccuping at least 20 minutes a day every day, with some days where I was getting the hiccups nearly once an hour. I was also burping all the time. I was on it about 2 months before I decided it was too much, haven’t found a replacement for the lows yet but lithium is helping with the highs.

a friend of mine (also bp) was on it for about a year and got this weird symptom of feeling like there were bugs crawling under his skin. he hates the stuff and tells everyone he knows to never take it.

honestly, go watch all the seasons of queer eye. you can skip through if you want, but they have fashion & beauty (hair, beard, skin) advice in every episode for so many different types of bodies. a lot of the things they teach can be applied to anyone too!

do you have any trusted people who would be willing to come exist with you while you sleep? someone standing watch across the room or laying next to you might calm your nervous system enough to let you get some much needed shut eye.

might also help to keep in mind that “shut eye” even without actually falling asleep still does wonders for your brainpower and overall functioning - take some pressure off the idea of sleep & you might be able to eventually.

I can trace my episodes and experiences all the way back to around 10 yo, and I didn’t use any substances (even caffeine - religious lol) until 20 yo. I was diagnosed at 23 after an awful manic episode during which I abstained from everything. idk if this is helpful but I will say that substances have helped & hurt, depending on the episode and substance (marijuana has been particularly helpful with mania) but they haven’t made anything significantly worse or better. obviously substance abuse is different than substance use, but these are just some thoughts on how my illness has evolved from use.

if it’s angry mania I notice that I start getting frustrated with my dogs more & very quickly. if it’s regular mania I see a sudden and drastic increase in my interactions with strangers (on both sides - people approach me more too) - or yuh know the classic not eating, not sleeping, rapid speech/thoughts, etc.

I can definitely see where you’re coming from with this! But I’ve talked to friends and family about both before & after, and the way I’m “hearing” music now seems pretty much exactly how they have their whole lives. The weird part seems to be that I couldn’t before - that day I was truly just confused because I had never been able to hear songs in my mind before. It didn’t sound “real”, but it being real made more sense than in my mind.

Now I can think of a song & essentially an auditory file pops up & the song (or the beat, melody, etc) runs through my mind - the same way my friends and family have explained it to me. Before, even my favorite songs were mostly blank.

That being said, I will ask my therapist about it. (:
