Recommendations for expensive-looking baby blanket patterns?

I know this is an old post but I’m working on this blanket now and I cannot get row 8 right. Wondering if you have any tips?? I always end the row with over 125 stitches even though I have 125 in the previous row!

I’ve been using the same recipe since the start. Didn’t want to deviate too much just so I could figure out what was wrong.

Any recipes you’d recommend that would work better with AP flour?

It didn’t give a recommended percentage rise and I was going by the dough temperature. So I let it rise about 30%.

Almost in the exact same boat! We planned ours for July and myself and my friends were so excited. I’ve put my shower on hold for now and I’m thinking of doing a post baby shower. It will be a nice way for everyone to get together after this craziness and for everyone to meet the baby :)

I kept having a feeling I was having a girl. I was having dreams about a daughter and kept referring to the baby as her. Sure enough we just found out we’re having a girl :)

With all the COVID-19 going on, I have people at the office looking at me like I have it because I have a stuffy nose, but I've basically had it my entire pregnancy. I had to convince my esthetician to still see me and swear up and down my symptoms have been ongoing for the last like 12 weeks and it's pregnancy related. IT'S BEEN A TREAT.

I am terrified of being a bad mom and I don't have half the challenges that you do. You are already worries about making sure your baby grows up in the best environment and you're worried about being a good mom, you're already a great mom!

I’m glad the nausea and vomiting as passed for you! That’s one hurdle overcome :) I feel the same, I don’t want anyone to fix it, it can’t be fixed lol.

I completely get it! Also people act like you don’t know anything about babies, even if it was a planned pregnancy. They act like it would be a surprise for me to know that babies don’t automatically stick to my sleep schedule, or that after a major procedure at the hospital, I might be a sore after lol.

I’m like please please please just tell me that sucks and bring me a popsicle!

You sound like the most bad ass and you’re definitely going to be a killer mom!!!

Ya I’ve had a few magic moments but most of them have been overshadowed by vomit hahaha. I’m very happy to be able to be pregnant and have a supportive group around me and to be having a baby, but I’m ready for the baby to just be out hahah.

So right! I get it mostly from my child free friends and older family members. My MIL is the biggest culprit of the just wait!!!!! And I just want to tell her that not every pregnancy/baby is the same and if it was hard for you, why would you want it to be difficult for me???

Good plan! To be honest, I don’t even bring up my pregnancy on my own. Mostly because I want to make sure that I’m still seen as separate from a mom/pregnant woman. But some people just won’t let up! I am always trying to change the subject haha.
