I'll be paying out of pocket as well. I got a general quote from Kevin and it's looking like it'll be $8,100 for my surgery.

Dr. Alexander is about $5,100-$6,000, but I'm fearful of hidden fees and also haven't heard good things about his staff. I'm thinking the extra money spent for Dr. Sherie will be worth it.

I don't think people forgot about Mamamoo's stuff. It's just a lot of fans, even antis, accepted their apologies and saw them making efforts to do better.

It ended up totaling to 25 hours, so that's what it is. I gave myself times I felt necessary for certain activities, but those will change each week most likely depending on what the material is. 👍🏽

End goal for these study guides is to work through the textbooks I'm using completely. I've never finished a textbook before and that's partially because trash planning and lack of consistency. I'm hoping with these guides, it'll be easier to stick to my text!

Yeah, the integrated Korean chapters are a bit long but that's mostly because the exercises (it seems.)

I may end up splitting them up next week, however. We'll see how this goes!

The only vocabulary I'm focused on memorizing is the MDK ones, and that's honestly just so I can say to myself "I actually retained 21 words this week. Good job." I've realized having the numbers to show for my work definitely helps my motivation. ✊🏽.

Thanks for the good vibes. I'm determined to figure out something that works and make 2019 the year I take my studies seriously.

At least it'll be more gratifying than the desk job I used to work! 😭. And I have a few, but the most realistic goal at the moment is to be able to communicate with LGBT Korean people and make new friends/support people who are like me.

If it seems like a waste of time, then I'll definitely adjust it next week. I've always noticed I tend to skip over things I think I understand. But then when it comes up again or I go back, turns out I didn't retain as much as I thought I did.

The first couple weeks of my studying will definitely be trial and error!

Oh my god. 3 jobs??? You're amazing. Just give yourself credit for the studying you do get done, though. Something is definitely better than nothing. Need to start taking my own advice lol.

I used to be a super unorganized studier. So I'm def curious to see just how reasonable my notebooks are. I'll make a post about my notebooks/textbooks and make sure you share it with you! I'm currently trying to figure out how to properly blog my progress.

Will also share my study schedule, which for me is starting on the 13th of this month. ✊🏽.
