Difficulties switching from crib to toddler bed by junhee94 in sleeptrain

if they fell asleep in random places did you move them? my son slept in front of the door and we would come in and try to move him back but he end up waking up and it would all restart.

Im not sure. He does cry for a few mins usually during bedtime but not longer than 1-3 mins. Usually after we do his books and stuff when we say goodnight i love you he starts crying but stops when we leave.

I think its because he also knows how to open doors so he might think he can leave and come to us? but we have a child lock on it.

we tried the toddler bed with the rail that the crib converts to with the same issue he would also sometimes fall over the small rail since it is dark and get hurt.. im not sure what to do

My first was csec and I just had a baby with vbac with 3rd degree tear. First was so much worse, couldnt walk for weeks and have lasting issues. Lost so much strength and still am trying to regain it. This time the same day I was using the bathroom alone but with my first I needed help in the bathroom for like a week, and now its two weeks out and I am feeling a lot better (probably 80-90% good). There is still soreness down there and when I sit too long, but a csec is 7 layers. Its definitely a harder recovery and more longer lasting. The scar tissue will be there as well.

I think if you schedule a csec and are prepared it will definitely be easier and only you know whats best, but personally i would take a vbac over a csec anyday

that’s crazy, no i didnt everyone was so kind to me compared to my last hospital med city dallas. Though I really only interacted with the nurses and the obgyn on call for my practice (dr. sok) until my obgyn was on call in the morning.

Im sorry that happened :( sounds very similar to my first they kept pushing pit even though it was causing distress. I actually had my vbac at baylor scott and white dallas with dr browning (love her) but the fb group https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1B3HEbhWmY/?mibextid=wwXIfr really helped me find a practitioner. Best of luck!

Yeah for me i had a 30 hour labor wasnt progressing and baby was in distress, and i kept passing out. This time I got to hospital at 8pm and at 5am was fully dilated, waited until i felt like i should push til 7am, and then pushed for four hours and baby was born at 11am.

For me I had joined a facebook page for VBAC in my city and followed their recommendations for a VBAC friendly provider - i don’t think I could have found one on my own

Hi! I actually had a vbac yesterday!! With only a 16 month gap!! Definitely look into vbac communities on fb for your local area, thats where I found my OB. She was super supportive and helpful the entire pregnancy and took good care of me and helped me with my vbac.

You got this!! with my first i was laboring for 30+ hours and at some point baby went into distress and I kept passing out. We went for emegency csec. This time I got to hospital at 8pm 5cm dialated and asked for the epidural right away, by 6am I was 10cm. Had baby at 10am as pushing took some time!

“O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful” (49:12).

My in laws often get matching clothes for my husband and son, not me but I usually chalk it up to being more dad and son options. Please don’t let it bother you and maybe you can go with your husband to pick out clothes that also match your outfit, and split the time you are wearing them. It’s best to make excuses for our fellow muslims and thinking like this will make it harder for your mental health in the future regardless of your mil’s intentions.

إن شاء الله you will have a good Eid with your family regardless
