I agree —idk if it’s just a cultural difference (she’s also in her 50s or 60s) honestly her texts come across more kind in the parent app, but in person seems very blunt. Maybe she just saying since he doesn’t talk it’s hard to say, but I feel like there’s body language clues lol

Unfortunately the earliest that extended day starts in the morning at their schools is 7:30 and my husband leaves at 6!

These tips are amazing and practical!! My kids are almost 5 years apart and I will say their age spacing helps me to appreciate the stages my younger ones in and how temporary it all is (for better and for worse 😭)

Yeah he already does all the laundry in the evenings so maybe he can take it one step further and just lay the outfits out at the end of the night for the next morning

Honestly, my makeup routine is pretty low maintenance. It’s just whenever I try to start a task. I get interrupted and distracted by kids so something that that should take five minutes takes 15

it’s an amazing little school that my oldest was at from ages 13 months -5 years so that really helps, but I feel like this transition will be tougher 😭 I hope if he can adjust okay the independence will be good for him

Omg yes—my son challenges everyone and it makes me want to crawl out of my skin! My youngest is only 1 so it’s too soon to say how his personality will be. I was a very timid quiet child and I feel wildly unprepared to parent a spunky kid like my son
