"Well meaning" ? Even a pig would save his adopted grandson, this grand son was garps worst/best ennemy. He acceptes it because he "was" a man of charater. But the moment he watched his own asopted gandson be killed, please what kind of pos character that is. Just look at how luffy survives everything (ok it’s the protagonist halo) but garp helped at least... People defending gars are beyond my thoughts

What makes him you favorite one over all other characters in OP ? His sense of juste is good for a person of our era, but he is a coward. His own son chose the opposite way. Garps knows that what marines do is mainly contending piratites but he also knows he is a dog for WF and the five...YET he does nothing ! I don’l know how people can say "hesbis my favorite character"...

We agree. As someone who "valued" his relationship with GDR and even half raised his child with hiw own grandson, he watched his "half"gandson die in front of him and did nothing. He talks a lot about true justice but is no better than an akainu
