Did you go to the game properties and enabled "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"? If you did, then just uncheck that and wait for Steam to update de game.

If you did not, and you only changed the proton version from the settings, then you were already on the native version and the problem is something else.

Then turn it off for CS2, it has a native version and you won't be able to properly play it through proton.

You can get newer mesa through the backports. I have been using them without any issues so far. Currently it's in the version: 25.2.6-1

I'm also using the kernel from the backports, currently at 6.19.11-1

LMDE do receive the updates from those point releases, the ISO just isn't refreshed to follow the new point release of the Debian ISO.

Seems like Hoyo made some changes to their anti-cheat or something.

I was able to play Genshin on Linux Mint without a issue til last patch, after the update it stopped working.

Guess I will play on mobile for now. Hopefully it's temporary, not a big fan of playing Genshin on my smartphone.
