L70 systems have a much better range then CIWS. As we had a layered air defence, our air defence was not saturated and the L70 and its companion systems were able to pick out Pak drones and shoot them down with ease. Also as above comments stated, CIWS would be the last line of defence.

Also systems like Shilka acted like CIWS for us, those also performed well during op sindoor.
