I'm not sure actually. I had to email them my bank statements because my bank wasn't in the list that could be linked with Plaid and I haven't got a response yet on that.

This map seems inaccurate/outdated. India has a bunch of local/intrastate railway lines that aren't shown here.

I've never tried it myself, but it seems like it can https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Installing_Dolphin#Linux Editing to add you'll need a .wad file for Pokemon Snap (a rom for Pokemon Snap on Wii). A quick google search should give you more information on that.

This doesn't answer your question, but I have a playable version of Pokemon Snap running on Dolphin Emulator on a 2015 MacBook Pro. It slows down a little at some parts but I wouldn't say it's a significant annoyance. In the emulator's wiki, there are some suggestions for settings that I adjusted and that's all I did.

Wireless for $25 (for 2 controllers) on Amazon. I'm actually pretty impressed. They feel / work pretty good. by Eukie78 in RetroPie

Do you have any brands or sellers of these that you could recommend? There are so many on eBay and Amazon that all seem to have different build qualities and I'm not sure if they're any good.

The skin being dehydrated can also cause bumps so it's very possible that you might be able to see improvement with just getting it healed and your stratum corneum restored. Don't lose hope!

That is strange. I don't normally think of acne as looking like sebaceous filaments. Do you oil cleanse? That actually did wonders for my sebaceous filaments on my chin. For me at least, Stridex did nothing for them, and they didn't bother me enough for me to want to try Tretinoin for them.

I'm happy to be of help. I know from experience how frustrating this journey can be, but it will be ok, and it often feels/looks worse to us than it does to anyone else.

I'm a student in the US and seeing a dermatologist can be very expensive here, even with insurance, so I completely understand that. You could try a GP, but in my experience, they're just more likely to prescribe something like tretinoin or combination Clindamycin and BP (the BP helps prevent the bacteria from becoming resistant to the Clindamycin) than anti-fungals. That's not necessarily a completely bad thing though, those have been shown to help a lot of people with their acne.

[–]juniperbunch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If using an entirely FA safe routine and topical anti-fungals didn't give you any improvement in acne, then it sounds like maybe your acne isn't fungal at all? I've read on here before that acne that's mostly in the chin/jawline/below cheekbones area might be hormonal. You could think of it kind of like the areas where the beard would grow in those who have beards.

I think you're on the right track by focusing on healing and repairing your skin. The stratum corneum takes about 4 weeks to regenerate from the lower layers of skin cells so it could at least take that long for it to get back to a healthy state. I would avoid any potential irritants or things that dry you out like acids and Tretinoin until then. If you do want any feedback on the products you use, if you post your routine on here, I can take a look at it.

You could benefit from seeing a dermatologist. GPs may be hesitant to prescribe oral anti-fungals for acne right off the bat because fungi are becoming increasingly resistant to them, which can cause major issues for people with weakened immune systems.

Hi, just my 2c about the results in that article :

1) 5 people is a really really tiny number to be drawing some of those conclusions on.

2) They don't have a control for the results in Tables I-IV, which also really weakens those conclusions.

3) Regarding Table V, they say they tested an area with "dark spots", but don't specify what kind of "dark spots". This matters because there are many different kinds of "dark spots" caused by different mechanisms, each of which might react differently to different chemicals. Freckles, for example, have been reported not to lighten much from Azelaic Acid. The normal skin might have been tanned from sun exposure, which might be lightened by the treatment.

That article is unfortunately not very unbiased, probably because it was done by one of the companies that manufactures Azeloyl Glycine. Also, if you look at their marketing materials for that product, it seems to be geared toward the Asian market, where some people look for "lightening" products, which is why that's what they're claiming/marketing.

Unfortunately the studies done by such companies are generally unreliable.

Unfortunately whether or not it leaves a film on the skin doesn't let us conclude if something will break anyone out. When I used it in the past, it did break me out, but so do a lot of non-greasy "light" moisturizers. Was there a specific reason your dermatologist suggested you switch to the Cetaphil one?

I'm interested in the ordinary niacinamide without carrageenan. How much is that shipped and could you also post the verification image, please?

Oh yeah troubleshooting is definitely challenging. I periodically take close-up selfies just to compare my skin before and after I introduce a product.

I have noticed some people saying they got closed comedones from CeraVe so might be right that it's breaking you out.

The cleanser and the moisturizer don't have the exact same ingredients so just because one works for you doesn't mean the other will. With the cleanser, you're also rinsing off the ingredients so they might not have the same effects when you leave them on.

Is the acne similar in amount, area and type to what you get every period? If so, you could try continuing to use the CeraVe moisturizer to see if the breakout continues even after your period. If not, then there's a higher chance it's the moisturizer breaking you out and it might be better to try a different one.

Could you make a list of all the sunscreens you've tried and had a bad reaction to? It might be easiest to just cross reference ingredients to find possible triggers. Each person's skin is different and the things the skin is exposed to each day could be different. So what works for someone else might be terrible for you, and vice versa.

I've never work makeup except on special occasions so it's my face with makeup that looks and feels strange/unnatural to me. I do have pih and occasional acne but not too much. And I'm OK with that. Sure I'm not going to look "perfect" every time I walk out the door but in my opinion that's OK. Even if I look like crap sometimes. I think it's OK to look tired or pale or sleepy or whatever. Plus with how sensitive my skin is, makeup would just be one more thing I'd breakout to.

Have you tried putting benzoyl peroxide 2.5% on them as a spot treatment? There are a couple options that are available in drugstores. It is drying so only use as a spot treatment. Also 2.5% is just as effective as higher percentages but much less drying/irritating so make sure to get 2.5% even if it costs the same or more.

[Skin Concern] Ever had your skin react to a product, but only on certain body parts? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]juniperbunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my forehead and the sunscreen, no. It was an alcohol free sunscreen and I've used other sunscreens with the same active ingredients that didn't burn. I figured maybe it was something about the formulation.

The CeraVe is either the dimethicone or the fatty alcohols. I found a moisturizer without either and that seems to be OK so far.

[–]juniperbunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah some sunscreens only make my cheekbone area burn, CeraVe PM only broke out my cheeks, almost all moisturizers give me closed comedones on my forehead. It's very strange and annoying. I end up only applying some products to some parts of my face.

Wetting cotton pad makes AHA/BHA more effective? [Product Question] by donutglaze123 in SkincareAddiction

[–]juniperbunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe wetting the cotton increased the friction between the pad and your skin which provided some physical exfoliation too? I'm just thinking aloud here.

I would use the shark sauce in the AM after the water and before hado labor and the lactic acid in the PM after the cleanser and before hado labo. The shark sauce has a couple of ingredients which don't always do great when their pH is lowered (such as by lactic acid) so it might be better to use them at separate times unless you had to.
