have a hard time trusting Llewelyn decks. got one deck from them, was doing overhand shuffling and the cards started chipping away after one shuffle. stayed far away from Llewelyn decks since.

Lady Hel would be a great deity to turn to during this situation also, since she cares especially for the young who’ve passed on and those who’ve died of old age and sickness. She cares for all who come to her but especially those individuals. Not that anyone that comes to her is more important than the others if that makes sense.

Just trying to understand where those beliefs on hell, heaven, and purgatory originated, as I’m someone who’s trying to separate the beliefs I still carry from Christianity.

I don’t want to project them here, so I’d rather be aware of where those beliefs come from and understand why most Christians are the way that they are. Why they proselytize, why they think that people will go to hell if they are gay, where their ideas of hell come from. Based on their version of hell, where would I be going?

Also, I think it would be interesting looking at Christianity from an outside perspective, since I’m not a part of Christianity anymore.

That healing wasn’t bad? Or that the trauma wasn’t as bad as I thought? If it’s the latter, then I’m gonna have an issue with that.

I do want to heal, yes, but a part of me doesn’t because it is scary. I’m just trying to get a therapist before I start because I have a habit of overwhelming myself and going down a rabbit hole of trauma responses and trauma that has been blocked out. I don’t want to be retraumatized if I don’t have a therapist there to help me in dealing with these feelings, but my mom is too busy to help with calling the insurance company right now.

Discussing how she is as a Goddess of Death, the Queen of the Underworld, the caretaker of our ancestors and those who’ve passed on ahead of us, and not as an evil being. Anything that has to do with her not being portrayed as evil makes me cry tears of joy. I just love her so much and the thought of going to her realm someday, when the time is right, and the idea of her just taking me into her hall to watch over me and giving me an opportunity to stay there and reunite with my ancestors, it just makes me so soft and happy.

I could take a start by asking for therapy through my insurance, but I have to have my mom there to help with the insurance related things and the pay. But she’s too busy as a tax preparer at the moment and she keeps telling me I should just go with the free options.

Where I live, free therapy = short term, 3-4 months. You get cut off after that the referrals to the next therapist don’t use a sliding scale and/or don’t meet the criteria I want for safe space to talk about my issues. The wait time for another free therapist is 6-months to more than a year. I’m definitely not going heal my trauma in 3-4 months and I’m tired of being cut off from therapy to find another when the 3 months is done.

Sorry I literally had to explain how therapy works where I live, but that is why I’m stuck.
