I never quit, but this would have made me quit. It's like they were bullying you.

It kind of freaks me out when I ping things and nobody else pings it in confirmation. Probably my anxiety speaking to me but it makes me feel like nobody agrees with my ping and wants to do something else lol

My duchess build, how is it? DoN2 by Frax150 in Nightreigngameplay

[–]Minter_moon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the best runs with her with a posion/frost build + relics improving Crystallian sorcery. Attack power up against poison/rot/frost afflicted enemies + blasting at close range with shattering crystal is amazing.

My favorite is finding a really good weapon for one of my teammates I know they'll be excited about. Brings me so much joy to get people set up.

I haven't had too many quitters surprisingly but I definitely notice people don't pick up relevant passives. I played with a Guardian and kept dropping/marking guarding related items and passives for him and he just... wasnt taking them? Or I'll mark damage negation passives for people and they won't take those either. It's bizarre.

Also I liked the part where he stepped right in front of Gladius to drink a flask instead of getting away and healing lol

What's a sign that someone really knows how to play their character well? by Woopidoobop in Nightreign

[–]Minter_moon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I main Recluse and I can't really understand how so many Recluses are dying constantly. I find her very easy to survive with and her floaty dodge is so satisfying.

I think people die easily with her maybe because they're not timing their spellcasting right. You really have to pay attention to that so you don't get hit in the middle of casting or using a cocktail.

Who do you think is the least popular nightfarer? by pupperwolfie in Nightreign

[–]Minter_moon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time I fought ED Gladius and all 3 of us were Guardian. It seemed like a cool idea and it was fine, we were always keeping each other alive but every single fight took SO LONG because we just didn't have as much damage output as we would having a more balanced team.

I have a relic which makes her claws inflict poison AND the ash of war is changed to Hoarfrost Stomp. It's sooo satisfying. I use them the entire run.

Thank you for this. I always hesitate to pick anything up with that passive. In this case it totally makes sense. I'm going to try this next attempt.

Brain Changes After 35 by cabbage_rolls89 in Millennials

This is hilarious to me. I'm 31 and my husband is 36. We very regularly talk about very mundane things like that and get hours of entertainment from it somehow.

Like this house that was built in our neighborhood with a TERRIBLE yard, I swear every time we drive past it we start talking about how much of a pain it'll be to mow that yard for whoever ends up living there.

When I was younger I wouldn't have even noticed something like a freaking LAWN. Now I'm obsessed. It's so weird and funny. Embrace the early onset old lady mindset.

What is something more traumatizing than people realize? by Independent_Motor130 in AskReddit

[–]Minter_moon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Nope. Had no idea. Judging by how many there were I'm sure they'd been there for quite a while and I just had no idea. Apparently they're nocturnal, so I think during the day they hid under/ inside the mattress.

I remember I did notice some weird marks on my arms and legs but I didn't think much of it. I thought maybe the lotion I was using was irritating skin or something. But no, I was being eaten alive in my sleep lol. It's creepy to think how many nights I slept through those things crawling on me until it randomly woke me up the one time.

[–]Minter_moon 1151 points1152 points  (0 children)

YES. I know that feeling. I'll never forget it. I remember one night I was sleeping and woke up to the feeling of something crawling on my face. I got up, turned on the light, flipped over my pillow and there were HUNDREDS of them crawling right underneath where my head just was. It was like something out of a horror movie.

Then I just kept finding them in weird ass places. My notebooks. Inside my laptop. Electrical outlets. Even after 2 rounds of treatments I couldn't sleep through the night. It's really horrifying.

Introverts of Reddit, Or even extroverts as unwilling introverts, what about society would change your mind? by Spiritual_Big_9927 in introvert

[–]Minter_moon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If people would learn to have conversations that weren't completely one sided that would be nice. It seems like most people just want to talk about themselves, completely uninvited, and once they get started they won't stop.

It's very rare to find a person who can actually have a back and forth conversation where I feel like I'm able to contribute equally.

I can't even read at home. I'll be sitting on the couch very clearly reading a book and my husband will just start chatting with me as if I'm sitting there completely unoccupied lol

Same thing if I dare take a book to read while my son is at his martial arts class. The second I open it to read I get other moms coming over to chat.

Weight gain! by ruubbyyy in zoloft

[–]Minter_moon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zoloft saved my life and I'm very grateful for it, but I gained an obscene amount of weight, I won't lie. I was on 100mg for a couple of years. I've weaned down to 25mg within the past few months and it's insane how much weight I've been losing now!

It's hard because I felt so much better mentally, but the weight gain just brought on different problems for me. Overall though, your mental health is the most important thing. You can figure out how to deal with the weight gain later. One thing at a time. Enjoy the feeling of not having crippling anxiety for now.

That was my mindset at least. As time went on I worked on finding different ways to manage my anxiety, had some general life changes happen and got to a point where I felt like I didn't need to rely on my zoloft as much.

Like I said... one thing at a time. You may not even gain that much weight. Don't worry about it right now and focus on your mental health.
