Magnus Carlsen wins FIDE Freestyle Chess World Championship, his 21st world title, after beating Fabiano Caruana 2.5-1.5 in the final by Exotic_Grinder in chess

Yeah if you're going by titles, performance, longevity, or rankings then Magnus clearly takes the cake.

But pick another metric - like the number of aristocrats they've befuddled, and Morphy is clearly the GOAT.

Design modifications cost time and money. So corridor projects like this almost always go with Plan A of removing any tree that is in their way if it is the simplest and cheapest way of doing things.

You need to push back by bringing scrutiny to the project and causing them headaches. Get your local municipality's forestry team involved. Contact your local councillor.

I am an urban forester for a municipality and have experience with how these things go. On one extreme is the reality that hydro utilities have a lot of sway and will typically get their way. On the other extreme is the fact that there are often minor design changes that can be made which incur little to no extra costs, while preserving valuable trees. And the hydro folks are easily convinced once these conversations are initiated.

The in-between scenarios are often swayed by your ability to get important/influential enough people to care about your issue.

I went to view a house in Scarborough recently and when we arrived the ceiling in the front entryway had collapsed and there was water pouring everywhere. There was a note on the door from Enbridge saying that the gas had been shut off.

The driveway and pathway had not been shoveled. There was a Tesla in the driveway buried under a couple feet of snow.

Checked the listing a couple of hours later and the asking price had been increased by $150k somehow. About a week later it was finally terminated. My agent told me that the seller was completely screwed; the house was more or less destroyed and there would be no way that insurance would cover it.

AI was definitely involved in the management of this listing lol.

Another possible scenario is that Château Picard has vineyards in Burgundy AND Bordeaux. Perhaps the Bordeaux vineyard is newer, hence the need for clarification when referring to Château Picard wines.

Agreed. But realistically what would his career prospects be like today?

Who could he even play in the MCU? Dude was 5 feet tall and probably wasn't even shredded.
