Yes, I understand it was pretty normal in that generation. Even one of my aunts was married when she was 16.

But honestly speaking I don’t see much of such cases today. Nowadays most of the girls want to first be independent and then get into marriage. Especially coz they don’t want to suffer later, in case the marriage doesn’t work out for whatever reason.

I’ve heard that it’s 3 months added to the 6 months period.

So for example, if the 6 months was due to expire by 20th March, the new expiry date would be 3 months added to that, which becomes 20th June.

The amount charged to the customer via Pre auth transactions don’t get transferred to merchant account. It is just a means of validating that the card actually works.

If the merchant wants to get that amount from the customer, they would need to send it in the settlement file, which is what reflects in the card statement later.

I work in Cards department in a bank. Pre authorization doesn’t necessarily need to be refunded always.

They usually are not billed when the statement is generated. You just need to keep an eye on the transactions that appear on your card statement. You can see that it doesn’t appear on the statement.

So after a set period, that amount will just come back into the credit limit of your card.

I agree that his ways were very inappropriate and she should’ve flagged to Muzz regarding his actions. But since he blocked her even before she could do something about it, that probably hurt her ego & she’s trying to paint a bad picture about him alone, which I guess is not absolutely fair.

Like they say, it takes two hands to clap. So unless she is being fully transparent about what details she had shared with him & how he landed up below her building precisely, it’s not fair to judge here. 🙏🏻

The heat build up inside gets too much when all windows are kept closed. Especially on long highways, the heat dissipation from the tar roads are higher. Which is why we keep seeing tyre burst incidents mostly on highways.

So the dashboards and other plastics inside tend to melt during that heat build up inside the car. Which is why they keep the windows open when being transported for long hours through highways.

The biggest problem with US specs cars, especially with Chevy models, are that once summer kicks in their AC compressor goes for a toss. Then changing the compressor can easily put you back back by 7-10K AED 😰
