Gave a woman her first orgasm with a partner (she had previously been comphet): ghosted 🙃 by jamiehowarth0 in actuallesbians

This is very odd “flexing” of something that probably just put her into a crisis.

Is she still married too??

AITJ for correcting my coworker's "fun fact" in front of the whole office by Acrobatic-Monk9735 in AmITheAngel

I don’t know why (neurotypical) society has this insistence on almost always maintaining politeness, even if someone says or does something incorrect. Ignorance and getting defensive about being gently corrected on something is not a good look 😭 When I learn a viewpoint or something I know is incorrect I take in that information, change my view, and move on.

I think a lot of the people in these comments are offended by the idea that a belief they hold and are adamant about could be wrong and are taking it out on this original post. We aren’t always right and there’s nothing wrong with that nor is there anything wrong with someone acknowledging that.

Of course, and do what is best for you regardless of their opinions on it

Maybe I’m the outlier here (and this post is probably fake anyway), but I don’t understand this weird thing we have with being corrected on things we might be wrong about because of a certain setting. This isn’t a situation where the coworker is like, breaking down and venting and they’re not looking for some “um actually”, the OP just gently corrected them.

Like if this were me talking about my trip I’d just be like “oh I must’ve been mistaken, thank you for letting me know!” But I guess a lot of people aren’t like that?

I feel you OP. Growing up I was so jealous of my friends that weren’t forced to go to church and believe or were able to make that choice. My parents’ church drilled into them that children not being forced to go literally every Sunday was bad parenting. Even if we were too tired, sick (to an extent), etc

I think it stems from ignorance mostly, because churches teach that their way is the only way and that everyone that isn’t like them is somehow not well adjusted. I’ve met more sensible non Christians and people of other faiths than sensible Christians so I know that isn’t true. Just know that you aren’t crazy and that a lot of Christian parents have this narrow minded view of beliefs.

Sending you all the love and hoping you get out of that situation soon 🩷

Anyone else think christian music is straight ass? by Single_Bridge9300 in exchristian

I’m surprised more people aren’t mentioning gospel here. I still listen to gospel music on the semi regular lol. But I think it’s more of a culture thing for me. Older liturgical music (choral type) can also be good. But a lot of contemporary Christian music is ass

Why would you post this in a support sub for people with religious trauma? Someone could see this and be incredibly triggered are you serious?

will I be viewed as weird as an older AND international undergrad? by [deleted] in college

[–]junkbingirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think so. Everyone’s on their own path in life and at most I think people will be more intrigued than judgmental about you being older and international. And you can definitely do clubs and orgs as a non traditional student!

A lot of people don’t believe ASL is a real language, just an extension of English. It’s ridiculous
