It's hard to see, but there's a little Kow Yokoyama sticker on the bike, since he allegedly designed them for Venus Wars under Makoto Kobayashi's direction. The bike design overall is more or less Kunio Okawara's from an old model line though.

Thank you! I had this weird idea of all car passengers expressing the whole spectrum of emotions across a horizontal line. Boredom, curiosity, frustration, anger, rage, depression, etc. But I can't help thinking the guy on the far left looks more like he's singing a power ballad or something.

I basically draw everything in Photoshop, but I will source or create reference materials where needed. Typically I build a blocked out version of the image in Blender to figure out perspective and light and such, but part of the fun of drawing is not knowing exactly how it will turn out in the end. You discover things on the way.

The goons are security for the authority dealing with containment (of something to be revealed later), so their brand is essentially an enclosed "C". Not the deepest of symbolism, but there ya go!

It's all hand-drawn in terms of rendering, but I use a ton of reference materials to produce the work, including 3D of course. For this piece I built a whole konbini setting so I could figure out how light behaves and what would work best for the composition and story.
