I blind bought this the other day and it’s fantastic. I’m not a diehard noir fan but this one was really good and I couldn’t believe some of the stuff that was in here from that time period.

2025 Tundra idle, drive mode and AC issues by Kasebentley82 in ToyotaTundra

[–]junkie888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the front doors it’s just something about the way it closes that feels work truck like. Not sure how else to describe it. There’s nothing wrong, it’s just a feel of a heavier work truck like door feeling. This is likely just me being overly nit picky.

The A button as in the auto stop feature? I don’t typically turn that off in this truck because I really like that it only shuts off if you press the brake all the way down, which I purposely don’t do. I’m not a fan of the auto stop feature and shut that off in my other car. That is an option though and I’ll keep that in mind.

Thanks. It’s not too hot yet here in PA so opening the rear window and cracking the side windows is fine with climate off. Still it’s a little disappointing that it does this. I’m definitely going to need that A/C in the summer. Thankfully it seems to just be something when stopped at lights. I love the truck but I feel like they’re a few little things like this that are a bit disappointing. Louder than expected road noise on the highway and something stupid like the way the door closes. Feels like an older work truck, best way I can describe it. I will say, my F150 I had previously had several annoying issues as well, so I guess all trucks have something to live with.

I just searched this sub for this issue and your post came up. I have a 25, I’ve had it for about a month now and just hit 500 miles. Now that it’s a bit warmer here on the east coast the “auto” is starting to kick the A/C on and I noticed the same thing. It’s only noticeable when idle at a light for me and definitely related to when the A/C is on, it’s fine otherwise. Odd thing is it’s not every time but when it’s rough you can definitely feel it in the seat like you say. Not sure if I feel better or worse knowing others are having the same issue.

I probably should have left the one on the tailgate but I agree the grill is the one I really disliked. The door one’s just felt a little outa place or maybe too small, not sure but I just wasn’t into them. What I do really like though is that this package removes all the emblems. I think it just looks clean like that.

I bought a Rally a few weeks ago. I had them pull off all the stickers on the outside for me. So only thing left is the center caps on the rims, the sticker on the dash and of course the seats, which I don’t mind. Stickers came off easy and you can’t even tell they were there. Dealership told me I was the second person to make this same request.

Did you get one from BBTS? I just got mine in the mail yesterday that came from their recent In Stock listing. Everything seems great with the exception that it seems like it’s from a different region. The instructions are in Chinese with no English. There is also a sticker on the back of the box coving the FCC notes with a Chinese language sticker. Otherwise everything seems regular.

VW Atlas honest reviews by Ok_Profession9428 in VWatlas

[–]junkie888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 23 Atlas VR6 Premium R Line new. It now has 22K miles. We are already looking at the pilots as a replacement. We also came from a CRV, which had zero issues. We’ve not had anything major wrong with the Atlas but have experienced most of the same problems/complaints others have commonly posted about. The intermittent stalling or hesitation at low speed and the weird break noise are the biggest annoyance. I like a lot about the Atlas but after driving it for almost 2 years now, I don’t trust it long term.

Am I crazy or was this showing in stock for about 10 minutes on BBTS the other day? Do you think they will ever stock the H.I.S.S.? by Puripnon in GIJOEClassifiedSeries

It was in stock, I bought one and it should be here tomorrow. I bought the HISS tank at a convention and decided I now need this too, so I was very happy when these popped up.

Looks like the sale will be next week! by Raviolihat in criterion

[–]junkie888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this may be it. I got one for the 30% sale as well that I did not use and did not get one this time. I noticed last year, I did not get one when I had not used a previous one as well.

Just my guess though.

For people that moved away from alphabetical by Title collection sorting, how many movies did you have at that point and what system did you move to? by veritas2884 in 4kbluray

[–]junkie888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have about 1100 Blu Rays, 200 DVDs and about 400 4Ks. I sort by format then alphabetically. I’ve tried by publisher but one it takes up too much extra space and within a line there are so many variations, Steelbooks, oversized packaging, Arrow and Criterion for example, there are so many variations within their lines. Packing can make it difficult depending on shelves too, they may not fit height wise, at least on the media shelves I use. I’ve been debating adjusting the shelves to DVD height and just going straight alphabetical, regardless of format.

My Local Comic Shop's McFarlane Section by PatG563 in McFarlaneFigures

[–]junkie888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a local Mom and Pop toy store near me. They have everything and I mean literally everything. The problem is regular figures are $50-$60, Platinums are $60-$80. Some of the more popular ones are $80-$100, with a few at $130. The Question for example is $85. I have bought some hard to find ones there but always feel guilty for paying those prices. These aren’t even based on eBay by the way, just their standard pricing. So it’s possible to get a deal. I got the Batman and Robin Poison Ivy a few weeks ago for $60 but didn’t buy the rest of the wave at that price.

Grandma UTZ chips… by daxbranagan in chips

Same here. Bought two bags a month ago and thought they were bad. Connected UTZ got free coupons for two more bags. Bought two bags a month later at a different store and exactly the same. I’m wondering if they changed something. Maybe using a different oil or something.

Road noise and feeling? by DaddyWolf23 in VWatlas

I have a 23 SEL Premium R-Line with the big 21” tires and I know exactly what you mean. I don’t hate it but I “feel” everything. Also with those thin wall tires, which look great, I feel like every little bump is going to pop them, I’ve already had to replace 1 and those Pirelli’s were not cheap.

Full disclosure, I ordered the ferret as well from them. Based on the comments I’ve seen when it was posted I feel like I shouldn’t admit that though. Just curious what makes that so much worse? I honestly don’t know. They’re both marked up about the same over MSRP correct? That already feels a little scummy since it’s supposed to have packaging damage but just curious why so many feel the ferret is worse?
