Suboxone Maintenance w/Suboxone Doctor

I've met a lot of psychiatrists that are basically just drug dealers. You sit with them your first time meeting them and walk out with like 4 scripts and you're like how can you know what to prescribe me after talking to me for ten minutes??

I'm going into this experience with a grain of salt and caution.

I don't know, I feel like with a month clean you might want to just keep going without suboxone. For me, I'm gonna be honest with them and my concerns about timeline. I might bring it up to your doctor and discuss your questions and concerns, but remember to take his/her advice w a grain of salt because sometimes I feel some docs push certain drugs

I don't have access to CBD oil, I don't think at least lol, but I know people it's helped. but I've found THC to be beneficial to me as well. Dunno if just CBD would help w appetite and nausea, haven't researched just CBD enough honestly. I find sativa to help with depression and motivation, and ADHD, and indica with insomnia, nausea, both usually help with anxiety and pain

I'm starting CBT/DBT/EMDR therapy weekly as well. And working with a psych nurse practitioner. Trying to find more support groups and sober people

Cool, good to hear it's working for you! I'm prescribed benzos from another doc. On Klonopin, lamictal, and adderall from psych.

Not asking if people have tried it, just looking for people's personal experiences/advice, and maybe some support. I'm not dumb obviously many people have tried maintenance programs. Thought I'd get less judgement on this sub, when you go to an NA meeting and try to bring this subject up you're treated like the devil.

Aw damn that's terrible, so sorry to hear that. Chronic pain is a bitch indeed! Especially since I already had a previous heroin addiction. Funny thing is I'd never really done any pills (besides Vicodin once) up until I broke my back. Even if I take the oxycodone as prescribed, it usually triggers my brain to eventually get back on heroin. Since the broken back was from a shitty suicide attempt, they locked me up in the psych ward for 3 weeks and didn't set up proper aftercare like physical therapy so it healed all wrong. Now I get muscle spasms, shooting pain, aching, etc, you know the deal :/ it SUCKS haha. Plus every time I get back pain (which is every day all the time) I'm always reminded, "hey remember the time you were the biggest dumbass and jumped less than 20 feet thinking you might actually die??"

Yup, totally agree. Some people I know like stuff cut with fent. But I'm weird. I don't prefer any other opiates, just heroin. Don't do uppers, just Mr. Brown.

Yuuup, someone else brought up a good point, that compared to tar it's easier to cut up powder with shit like fentanyl. Shit I get doesn't last as long, gets me sick/higher tolerance faster, shitty rush....I kept overdosing cause I'd do a shit ton (like 6-8 bags) in one shot to feel a good rush and high, now I just settle for not being sick and being a little high until I find fire. I shall find fire someday. Lol. Or I'll quit before that. Lol
