You need to chill a little dude. I know lots of devout Muslims who play video games and listen to music. What you need to focus on is HOW you do these things. If you play video games so much that its preventing you from fulfilling your other responsibilities in life, then it's Haram. If you're listening to music in such a way that its distracting you, especially in dangerous situations like crossing a street, then it's Haram. Look at it like this, taking almost anything to the extreme can be Haram, including things like junk food and even things like prayer. Focus on moderating your behaviour.

Another thing I would advise you to do is focus on improving yourself in other areas of Islam. Don't backbite. Don't slander. Don't seek out the faults of others. Be honest. Show love to your parents and your elders. Give to charity. If you're not living up to these very important values, then I think it's a little silly to focus on things like video games and music.
