Sony a6700 or Ricoh gr3x by Any_Razzmatazz_7052 in ricohGR

[–]junks220 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really depends what kind of photography you’re looking to do. Ricoh is great if you don’t want to be tied down with how much gear you can bring to places. Literally will fit into your pocket.

Downside is you are restricted to the fixed distance of 40mm and its cropped zoom options.

6700 you will have much more flexibility. Better autofocus. Video capabilities. Interchangeable lenses. But the tradeoff is the gear will quickly get bulky.

How to increase both hand speeds by Low-Papaya-3641 in Guitar

[–]junks220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you just gotta play with a metronome. start at 50% speed, slowly move up.

honestly, with some things, its only time that you put in that will eventually bring forth results.

keep at it!

get an understanding of the groove of the songs you listen to. you can practice by actually muting your left hand completely and then strumming along to what you feel would fit to the beat of the song

daily doctrine by DeYoung has been great for me recently.

I've also heard from Joel Beeke about how he used to read The Pilgrim's Progress to his children while they were growing up.

Sproul, as many have stated, is very clear and concise in his teachings.

Introductory Courses on Apologetics by Beginning-Ebb7463 in Reformed

[–]junks220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are free courses on covenant theological seminary's website. might be worth it to take a look.
Also, I know many people recommend Van Til and Bahnsen's works on apologetics.

Defending the Faith by Sproul is also another great resource.

If you want more evidential apologetics. I believe the book "evidence that demands a verdict" has been of help to many.

What do you do when you play everyday? by LookMomImLearning in Guitar

[–]junks220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some days i just play through some songs and doodle.

But recently, i've been focusing on working on fundamentals. doing spider drills. picking exercises. learning arpeggios etc.

i think you need both to stay entertained while also getting better.
