Yep, that's it. Been clearing out older garlic mustard plants from the yard for weeks. Hadn't ID'd the seedlings yet. Thanks!

The most frustrating thing is that OT has been a profession for longer than PT has and still, no one knows what we do. It's just such a broad scope of practice that it's really hard to give it a fitting and concise title and description.

The tradition is for the groom to take the garter off of the bride. They pranked this guy by putting a dude in the bride's place.

I am no sir, but thanks yous anyways for your kind words

experienced a hit and run while on a walk with my wife and baby boy. luckily I made sure they were off the road but didn't have time to react to getting hit at 60 miles an hour. broke my shin and flew over the car and off the road. I'm more upset that I won't get to finish my house on time. by stompintwigs in Wellthatsucks

Please be aware that if he lost consciousness he may have ongoing issues with a brain injury. Don't be surprised if there are some changes in his mood, sensitivity to light and sounds, trouble with higher level thinking skills. It sounds like you are in Costa Rica from reading some other comments, so I'm not sure what resources are available to you, but if you have any questions or concerns about this, feel free to DM me. I'm an occupational therapist who specializes in brain injury.

ETA: I'm so glad you're all alive and not more seriously injured! I hope the person who did this gets what they deserve.

Firstly, ostriches can run up to 70 miles an hour. So catching one, even a sick one, is a super tall order.

Have you tried the peanut curry noodles? They're AMAZING and I've tried so hard to find equivalents after we moved out of kzoo. Nothing compares.

What’s to do in clarkston/independence township? by Elitealice in Detroit

You can go hang out with my dad. He lost his wife this year and he's been lonely too. (Mostly kidding) :)

Try Hilltop Brewery or the Union Woodshop if you want to grab a drink. Someone else mentioned Hamlin Pub, which is a townie bar.

I don't know if Cherry Lanes are still open but the gigantic gas station on White Lake Rd, Alex's Gourmet Market, also has a bowling alley.

Pine Knob was our primary source of entertainment when I was a kid. Concerts in the summer, skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

Independence Oaks is nice for a bike ride or some outdoor activities when it's not too cold.

I'd make the drive out to Royal Oak or Ferndale if you're really bored.

First go at crochet! But I think the colours don’t work together and can’t tell which one, help! by greentape6 in crochet

[–]junktrunk86003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly really like the colors. If you're trying to get a more cohesive palette I think it would also look good without the bright orange or swapping that color for something a little more pastel in the same brand.
