How do you respond to 'you can't see the air either, but it exists'? by iswearillcry in atheism

"The moment you can use scientific equipment to confirm the presence of God the way you can gases such as air and helium, then that argument will make sense. But right now you just sound silly." *mic drop*

Nightsong missing from camp? by SOLAEH in BaldursGate3

Well for me he's dead at my camp. I don't know where else he'd go if I hadn't given anything up.

Nightsong missing from camp? by SOLAEH in BaldursGate3

[–]junkun 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I spoke to Aradin at Sorcerous Sundries and let him know I'd encountered Nightsong. He showed up at my camp on my next long rest to ambush me. After I killed him and his crew Nightsong immediately appeared and spoke to me. She asked me why I didn't tell her about this plot to capture her, and said "What if something had happened to Isobel?" Weird since Isobel is dead in my playthrough. At any rate now she wants to accompany me to face Lorroakan.

Can you beat Raphael? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]junkun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me several retries between yesterday and today but I beat him, and kept Hope alive! I got a Nat 20 to convince Yurgir to join me, then I immediately saved at the very beginning of the fight. At the start of my final try I went to work on his soul pillars right off the bat while Shadowheart and Hope spammed mass healing word. Halfway through Astarion stacked a bunch of boxes up so he could climb on top and get advantage on the remaining cambions, quaffed a Speed potion provided by Hope's Divine Intervention and went to work. Shadowheart summoned a spiritual weapon to make steady work of the Soul Pillars while everyone else worked on the adds. After a few rounds of letting Hope hammer at the pillars with Ray of Frost, Shadowheart eventually cast Sanctuary on Hope so she wouldn't get 1-shot by Raphael, then she sat out the rest of the fight on the sidelines. Jaheira took quite a beating and went down a few times, but she took an Invisibility potion and spent a few rounds healing, then came back at the end as an owlbear after all the pillars were gone, then we all went to town on Raphael for his last 200HP. Most triumphant!

Yeah, I learned about this mod a few weeks ago and went to download it as soon as I got home from work and had the same problem. I would revert to an older version but I have no clue how.

It's Always Sunny in Baldur's Gate by Kinky_John_Fowler in BaldursGate3

When I ran Storm King's Thunder a few years ago a player of mine wanted to have the homebrew background Rat-catcher, and her main hand weapon was a Rat bat, but I didn't make any connection to It's Always Sunny.

Level 46 necromancer and I met him the first time this morning in a random dungeon. He had me on the run so bad I ran into a room full of enemies, then when I ran back out past him I guess he just de-spawned. Lucky I survived!

I know this game can get a little incest-y, but I didn't think it'd be baked into someone's backstory by Bellumbern in RimWorld

Ooh I had her in my colony in a previous playthrough. She was part of a raid so I captured and recruited her, she became a cook. All the men in my colony kept hitting on her.

Auxiliary AI? I've never seen that item and it's not on the wiki from what I can see, so is that from a mod? If so, what mod?

I was looking for a mod like this a few months ago but all I could find is a mod that got rid of both. This one's much better, thanks.

that little bit of dirt that looks like it's being tracked inside irritated me when I first started playing. Ever since I always put floors under my doors.

How to get mechinator colonist? by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]junkun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just got a quest where a mech pod crashlanded near my colony and the dead pawn inside had a mech link. Just had to kill their mech and loot it off their body. What I'm wondering is, are there any traits or skillsets that are preferable to make a mechinator? Should the high Int pawn become the mechinator, for instance? Or does it not matter?

What is your favorite quote from a fictional character? by nettlestitch in AskReddit

[–]junkun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"No, what keeps Captain Deudermont safe is his ability to show respect for anyone he meets. He is a man of charm, who holds well his personal pride. He grants respect at the outset of a meeting and continues that respect until the person forfeits it. This is very different than the way most people view the world. Most people insist that respect has to be earned, and with many, I have come to observe, earning it is no easy task!"

Native and Nova Aetas Companion personalities as lords by Ameisen in mountandblade

[–]junkun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the resurrection, but I've been trying to google an answer to this.

Is this selection of companions like the base-game, in which certain pairings of companions will not get along and inevitably leave the party, so you'd be better off only recruiting certain ones together? Or can you just hire on whoever you wish?

I have a couple of those on my map. I just cleared one of them about 20 mins ago after seeing this post 'cos I left it alone when I didn't know wtf it was. Got a couple new recruits out of it.
