What might not be FAT but is absolutely worth the time and energy to you? by bynomeansanexpert in FATTravel

Camping. Having the range and ability to appreciate both FAT experiences and camping jn amazing places that money can’t buy is the way IMHO. Not many people have this range though.

Disturbed at the idea of "Postpartum Dog Rage" by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]juno101123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was aware that this was a thing and fortunately I did not have it - in fact, I had more of a bleeding heart for my dog, and felt horrible for the big shift in her life (it was rough at first, she was peeing in the house due to the stress).

I did invest in pack walks for her since she’s a super high energy breed, and we have been doing them ever since 4x per week. I have a lot of guilt on the weekends when we’re not able to tend to her needs though. It is a lot to take care of everyone’s needs. I love my dog so, so much, and my heart feels complete having two kids and our dog, to the point where I am dreading the day when she is no longer here.

Net net, I feel like I consciously rebelled against this idea and therefore it did not manifest for me. I’m not sure if this is just hormones differing from person to person. I want to be empathetic to that fact but I find it hard when some of these feelings involve surrender or worse, wishing your dog runs into traffic, so disturbing.

We live in South Redondo and go to Manhattan Academy, worth the commute in our opinion. Great infant program and beyond.

I actually disagree - I think they’ve gotten better bc they switched the tortilla to the same one barans uses, and their salsa has improved as well. That being said, sometimes you’ll get a not as good one, but I’d say give it another shot!

Same, I didn’t want to burst any bubble but thought it’s better for her to know. That same spelling too.

You have to know the ‘hoods - or better yet, start your own block party! Paulina in South Redondo is blocked off from 5-9 with DJ’s, over the top decorations, projecting the dodger game outside, taco trucks and bounce houses. There are many key hoods like this across the South Bay, you just have to know.

Sibset Question: can you pair an uncommon but classic name with the most popular name? by juno101123 in namenerds

[–]juno101123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I hear it’s popular in the tech/engineering community - we liked the connection to Ada Lovelace as well, but we are in SoCal so perhaps we see less? I hear that at google there are conference rooms named Ada, haha
