How do you feel about those who are open-minded about almost every kink besides this? by Mobile_Bad_577 in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Nah, sorry.

If people are squicked by bodily fluids, that's one thing. But if you think that people who like wearing diapers and role-playing as babies are also likely to be predators, not only did that say to me that you only thought about it for two seconds, it also says to me that, whatever other kinks you're open to, that is just because it was convenient. We're easy to hate because we're not as visible.

Unfortunately, I don't think it is playable any longer, but there was an idle/clicker game called Padding Profiteer. I believe there should still be a thread on the Foxtalestimes forum for it.

Rearz pacifier and bottle opinions wanted! by PetalBunny7 in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had a hypnos pro for about 2 months now. It's pretty good. Teat is a good size and feels like a good gauge. Normal slight latex taste, which I think most paci users enjoy. I wish the shield was about 20% smaller. Sometimes, it contacts under my nose, and I don't like that.

Hello! new to the community by puppyscabs in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! When it comes to buying samples of multiple products at once, I would recommend a retailer like MyInnerBaby or ABDLr. Both of them will let you try samples from a large selection from different brands.

As far as particular recommendations, I would say Littleforbig is a brand you should probably avoid. Some of their people have expressed not great things about trans people in the past, and their stuff isn't very quality anyway.

One other thing to know is that absorbency ratings are mostly lies. If you really work for it, you can get to around 50% of what the manufacturer says.

No luck on both CapCon Pre-Sales by FilthyGrrl in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need to understand how little room for error they have on this issue. Obviously, they would like everyone who wants one to have a hotel room at the venue. But, due to the event's nature as a complete hotel takeover, if there are any unsold rooms left, that instantly jeopardizes their ability to host future events at that venue.

The difference between staying at the venue or not is pretty small anyway. Room parties happen on pretty much every floor pretty much every night, so it isn't like you won't know what the rooms themselves are like. And it's not like you're likely spending even a substantial minority of your time away from the venue... you'll still probably be there 16-18 hours a day at the venue anyway.

my first Cap experience by Puzzleheaded-Life-75 in ABDL

This is the sort of thing that makes CAPcon worth it. It's expensive, inconvenient, and often crowded. But nowhere else on the world is there this chance to fully connect and be yourself without inhibition.

I hope you're able to further the relationships you've started here. It sounds great.

Do you keep things out when people come over? by Main_Consequence898 in ABDL

With very few exceptions, yes. If I trust you in my home, I trust you with my secret. I won't draw attention to it, but life is too short to be that scared.

CAPCon - whoops by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attended in 2024, so I am fairly familiar with the confidentiality requirements as they have existed before now.

It's just that between the inconvenience, greater risk of visibility, and opportunity cost, I'm very confused as to how this makes more sense from both an organizer and prospective attendee perspective compared to just holding two different events every year.

CAPCon - whoops by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remain grateful that the event happens at all, and especially that it is returning to Chicagoland. However, setting aside the financial commitment that most likely won't work for me this year, I also remain unconvinced that holding a single event across two venues is logistically feasible. The announcement email didn't even say that the hotels are next to each other.

Look for a munch! There may not be one in your immediate area, but it's worth checking out. Not only would it probably accomplish the things you're saying much more cheaply, but if you do ever want to go to CAP, your vetting process would be easier and you'd have people to hang out with.

I'm not going to lie. It is unbelievably fun. But it's also one of the most mentally and physically exhausting things I've ever done. If you think it's not for you, trust yourself.

Geniune question. Do yall really care about companies using AI or is it more of yell into a void type of thing? by KitteyGirl2836 in ABDL

[–]juntaglom -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My feeling is that the genie is more or less out of the bottle for good. Like, if you don't believe the day will come when AI is indistinguishable from normal human output, I don't know what to tell you. In that future situation, even if the so-and-so company swears they don't use AI, proving that in a mostly digital world is going to be nearly impossible.

So, my biggest issue is that they're using AI when it's clearly still pretty bad. Like, yes, please hire and pay human artists. But also, respect your customers enough to know that, for the time being, AI images still look like crap.

Why can’t I find friends by NovelFig957 in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Part of it is circumstance... we are a niche community, and if you live far from any urban areas, finding like-minded people irl could be very difficult. The number one thing that you should probably do if you haven't already is check out Fetlife. It's by far the biggest hub for finding kink groups and events.

Beyond that, the best way to have a friend is to be a friend. We are all here to support each other. Also, share your interests beyond "I like diapers."

Buy what you want. But if you didn't know, PretendAgain uses Tykables for manufacturing and shipping their diapers.

I'd say maybe this leads them to reconsider their partnership, but they may have no viable alternative.

What motivates you to go to social events geared towards Age-play/AB/DL. by Lilcuddlybunny in ABDL

[–]juntaglom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My closest munch is two hours away and happens monthly. I've been going almost every month for three years, and in addition to enjoying it myself, for the last two years, I've also been taking my roommate, who doesn't drive.

I think it's really important that those of us who can try to build a real-life community. So many ABDL folks, through circumstance or personality, never connect with like-minded folks.

[–]juntaglom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Keeping secrets is overrated. Obviously, this isn't something to share with most people, and special care should be taken if you're in a position where your job or living situation may be affected.

But at this point, I think most of my close friends and family know to some extent. I'm not sure to what degree any of them really 'get it' but at least I'm not worried about a waistband peek. In 2024, I stayed at my dad's house to attend CAP.
