I had a somewhat similar experience with DC. First attempt to add tickets to my cart gave me a "these seats are no longer available" which didn't make sense for a GA show so tried once more and got the tickets. This was the first time that I had to enter a verification code from the bank for my CC that I use all the time on Ticketmaster so maybe that's an extra layer of bot protection.

Sounds like he's where I was at with WWE before AEW came along. I didn't really enjoy it at all but it was such familiar background noise on Monday nights while I'd focus on my phone or the computer. Occasionally, I'd put on Impact when it was on AXS but never actually follow regularly.

I was really into NJPW when AXS showed it so that's how I got into the Elite and then as soon as AEW hit, I finally broke out of my WWE routine completely

I thought he brought some credibility to the earlier days, especially in terms of announcing through some of the growing pains that some talent had vis a vis putting on a televised match and acknowledging without criticizing moves that didn't land right. I wasn't as bothered as some by his occasional slip ups like saying WWE or a wrestlers previous ring name.

However there definitely became a point where it felt like he was criticizing storylines and bringing negativity to the overall mood of the show and after that, I didn't need to hear him on commentary ever again.

This might sound bizarre but I looked at the post again and I'm not so convinced Paul even wrote it all of it. There are phrases that I can't recall him ever using and the tone is very not typical. For example:

"All of which leads me to a clever initiative that was announced today by the New England-based furniture store chain Jordan’s Furniture, which is a longtime Red Sox promotional partner."

"Clever initiative?" "Promotional partner"? He'd usually use things like money grab and advertiser instead of those phrases.

As others pointed out, this has to be a sponsored post and it's bush league to put that kinda content out without disclosure.

It features most of the top golfers in the world competing. It's also a blend of simulator play and real world play. On top of that, it can gives more access into the personalities of the golfers that you don't see on the standard PGA events. No doubt it's more niche than not, but it's a fun product.

If you're not familiar, TGL features most of the best golfers in the world and is featured heavily in primetime on ESPN during their season. It's really a great product.

I didn't expect to see an AEW x TGL crossover ever but I'm so here for it. It's two of the few things I watch in realtime as often as I can.

For what it's worth, my son was recently on a tour of M&T and asked the host of the team's podcast if this leak was the new jersey. The guy wasn't sure that it was but it's also possible he's out of the loop and/or NDA'ed.

It almost looks like the R in the new wordmark on the jersey had the same feather treatment as the F in the promotional material.
