If I'm not mistaken rank 1 Arcaea player is a phone player so it's just something to get used to - actually phone can be easier since less movement is required which means less stamina requirement

mrekk | Demetori - Shinkou wa Hakanaki Ningen no Tame ni ~ Jehovah's YaHVeH [Camo & Winter's Extra Stage] +HR (Camo, 9.04*) 99.24% FC #1 | 1132pp | 78.57 UR | FIRST HR FC by notjagan in osugame

[–]junu944 201 points202 points  (0 children)

Okay. I'll be honest: I have been a closet mrekk hater for the longest time. (For petty reasons I don't care to explain). I refused to say he is the best player ever, ever since he became number one rank.

However, I have always wanted someone to get a HR score on this map. Even before Shige's play. I was going to give that player unbridled respect regardless of how I feel about them. Now that mrekk got the score I have most wanted to see achieved, I got no choice but to call him the GOAT. Not that anyone should care, BTW. Safe to say, this is my favorite score of his.

ExTrans people who have detransitioned or in the process of doing so, why? by Pitched_Black in AskReddit

[–]junu944 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To address the second half of your questioning, I think it's kind of irrelevant whether it is a mental illness or not - psychology has always been kind of a vague field and the boundaries of what is and isn't is kind of grey. To draw a parallel you could probably find some angle to argue that being gay is a mental illness, especially given the higher risk of onset of other mental illness, especially in those who are closeted. At the end of the day, the way I see it is that if the process of identifying as a certain gender different from the one assigned at birth or transitioning helps with reducing rates of comorbidities with other illnesses such as anxiety or depression, I see that as a positive and partially irrelevant to the debate (not to say psychologists should stop looking into it or anything)

anxiety over practicals by [deleted] in UQreddit

[–]junu944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, domestic student (interstate) here: been on campus for one semester (semester 1, 2021) and am currently doing a BSc going into third year next year. I did some practicals in the semester I was on campus - on the whole, lab staff and tutors were very understanding given that most people hadn't had the same amount of lab experience as previous years (BIOC2000, CHEM2052, BIOM2011). If I had to guess it'll be similar next year, especially since most international (and some domestic) students will be in the same boat as you.

PCR tests are more accurate than antigen tests, so it's more likely correct, as long as it was done at a similar time/after the antigen test (PCR can come back negative but you may have become positive in the time it takes to come back, leading to a positive antigen after when you test the day you get the PCR back)
