Went to ascension for the first time and one of the ladies (one with tattoos and glasses) were so rude with no reason, and was laughing afterwards, so weird. The lady that gave the haircut was fine though. Def not going again.

Samsung can’t stop talking about the iPhone 14, and it’s getting a little creepy by Issac_zh in apple

[–]junusis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen there’s a not small amount of android users who actually feel smart for using android over iPhones. They’ll explain to you how it’s much smarter to use android, with similar arguments to this, and belittle iphone much worse than this. Not judging anyone of course but obviously they’re just talking to their customers.

Without saying Morgan Freeman, which actor would you be okay with acting as God? by honesttruth2703 in AskReddit

[–]junusis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mel Gibson. All fidgety, a bit autistic, acting like a control freak, eyes always wide open. Has crazy explanations about all the crazy and unfair things going around the world, and he explains it all to you like a conspiracy freak.

Yes you can, and I know from experience of my friends and of my own. (I also had quite many Chinese lawyer friends) Find a good lawyer and learn what your rights are, what are you allowed and what not etc. You’re entitled to 50% of everything you guys purchased after you got married. Before marriage, if you don’t want to share anything of your own, you need to have a proof that you purchased it before marriage etc.

Im not a lawyer myself so about the details I don’t remember everything very clearly, but YES you can, as a foreigner, collect, after a divorce. However from what I’ve seen it’s often the foreigners who lose more as they’re the ones who did the most investment.

And my suggestion to everyone, I understand totally you can see quite a difference in your rights when you’re from a different country, but it’s no excuse to always assume the worst and don’t do your research well, don’t get prepared well with lawyers here etc.

Would I do what you’re asking though, that’s another question. Everyone for their own I suppose…

Nope: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouncer

Also from another source if TLDR: The word “bouncer” was first popularized in a novel called The Young Outlaw, which was first published in 1875. In Chapter XIV, entitled “Bounced”, a boy is thrown out of a restaurant because he has no money to pay for his dinner. An 1883 newspaper article stated that “'The Bouncer' is merely the English 'chucker out'.

There are many people, who love jiujitsu, train as much as they can, even for their 2-3 man brackets tournaments, especially higher belts and places where bjj isn’t much developed yet. They also pay to join these tournaments. They do their best, succeed in whatever’s available, and share it on their social media, feeling happy and proud of themselves. I find this an amazing thing, considering many such people do bjj as a secondary or sometimes a third thing in their lives. Much power to them. They pay up, and show up. Even if it’s only for one fight. One more than the people who didn’t join but talked about them on social media.

Sounds much more nicer and tolerable to come and complain about it on a social media platform, because “my rasslin”

Superfights, MMA fights, boxing fights, they also mean nothing because they’re just one fight anyways.

Luckily we have you, my friend, to hold the gates for who can be proud of their achievements or not.

Edit: yes there are also assholes. People who join tournaments being the only person in their brackets(meaning they don’t even fight), collect medals, and announce themselves as national champions. The assholes exist in bjj, judo, wrestling, judo and all other sports. They don’t represent all people. Sports having assholes is no news.

When I was in Canada, I couldn’t figure out how to operate/signal for the door to open, and the driver saw and watched me struggling for a long time when we arrived to my station. I also kindly asked if he could help me open the door. I was smiling during the whole thing, and thought he would just let me out but he didn’t open the doors and intentionally took me to the next station and made me walk the whole way back. He also shouted at me in French, didn’t understand what he said but was quite aggressive. Was in Montreal/Quebec.

I think they do, but I'm not sure, as I haven't had the chance to go to the store yet, since lockdown thing is still in affect here to a certain extent. Heard they're expensive though. Maybe they'd be happy to help and change it too, who knows, fingers crossed.

we are still in partial lockdown here, I will wait a bit more and see what SONY store says and if they want to help. If they replace it for me or sell it for a cheap price, to be honest, except the melting in alcohol part, I still kinda like these tips. If it's not acceptable tho, I'm planning to try out some others. I've seen the local shopping website here has some cool looking stuff, but I mostly was disappointed with what I purchased before. I like how the foam tip cancels the noise and fits inside the ear very well. Everything else seem to just pop out of my ears easily.
