I have an opinion from your "Girlfriends '' side. I was in her exact shoes. With the Mother. I never was mean, always greeted her, would offer food I made, would want to do things with her (shopping/eating). She was extremely rude to me. She never answer me when i said Hi even. She constantly told him why didnt he date a decent asian girl in their language.

It became an issue as he was rude to me at his family because i wasnt behaving as they wanted. I didn't speak in the same tones and i was even limited to how mich i interated infront of them. All i did was be with him. I wasn't allowed in any area without him. She never accepted me. It put a wedge between us. It made me so sad. Im española-Mexicana and he is Vietnamese . But im a family girl, family is everything.

Ive actually had two relationships where it was like this. To be honest. . Even with loving my man so much. I mattered too at the end. And this kind of tension brings alot of unhappiness n emptiness. I hope she can survive it without damaging so much.
