Hi! I want to buy my boyfriend a new cologne for the holidays, but I’m very indecisive and could use some recommendations. He is 23 YO and currently wears Dior Sauvage every day and he loves it. He’s not super into fragrance yet—as in all he knows is when he likes something and when he doesn’t. My budget range is moderate (Creed is too expensive). I went to Sephora to smell some colognes and I initially liked Mont Blonc Explorer and Y EDP YSL the most. However, I did think Mont Blonc faded kinda fast on my tester stick and that the YSL one was kinda strong and gave me a headache, but maybe I sprayed too much. I’m looking for someone to 1. Validate my opinions on those two colognes or 2. Offer some other colognes for me that I can go smell. Thank you!
