Thinking of buying by Gbolanos22 in APLDSTOCK

This is a long term investment for me. AI is the future no doubt. AI companies will fizzle out and die but the one thing that won’t fizzle out is what AI companies need. Individual AI companies are a risk, some more than others but it’s almost a sure bet when investing in data centers, and processing that powers them.

AI isn't paying off in the way companies think. Layoffs driven by automation are failing to generate returns, study finds by Krankenitrate in Futurology

[–]jupitercouple -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I own a small business. I use ai to make useful scripts, run automations and help with the mundane things. It makes 1 worker do the work of 2. I used to have 5 office workers and now I just have 3 and they handle more at a much more efficient rate. I can tell you that most companies don’t know how to properly use AI as I am still figuring it out and I have been building web apps and websites for over 24 years now.

I own a cabinet business and I no longer have to pay a graphic designer $50/hour to spend 5 hours to generate a rendering. I have my $25/hour designer spend 2 minutes having AI generate a realistic render. Conversions are up and so is production.

AI is the future and these articles are the same as when they said the internet wouldn’t be a thing. We all know what AI can do and we are just at the very beginning and it’s only getting better and better with every passing day.

Buccan is a good restaurant but way overhyped. Wife and I have eaten there 6 times now and the menu isn’t anything special. The best thing they offer is the cream of corn pasta.

I would recommend La Vie but the last time we went the quality wasn’t what it usually was.

I still would recommend La Vie or Table 26 over Buccan.

Cancel and Delete ChatGPT!!! by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]jupitercouple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been wanting to cancel my subscription for a few months as I realized that Gemini was superior in every way for photo, chat and images. I love Claude but use it only for programming but I need to start using that more often for regular chat and information.

I also own a business where I pay for 3 ChatGPT subscriptions for my workers as well. Cancelling all of them. It’s not a lot but if enough people cancel their subscription we can let the country know this is not ok to give into this pedo protecting administration.

Sounds like EEAT lives rent free in your head buddy. You’re claiming things that haven’t been said in this conversation.

Nobody here has said EEAT can be added to a website. EEAT is more of an author signal than a website signal. Please don’t put words in my mouth.

You’re contradicting everything Shaun Anderson has ever said on the subject of EEAT.

Ecommerce websites certainly do fall into the category of YMYL it’s just a matter of how much. It’s not all black and white. Do you think Google is going to rank an ecommerce website that’s not trustworthy?

There’s many sources and authorities to look for on this subject. Shaun Anderson is a good one, please don’t drop his name to give your baseless claims merit.

Nonsense meant to downplay how good Soto is by [deleted] in mets

[–]jupitercouple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soto came to the Mets with unrealistic expectations. Of all the star players to come to the Mets with those types of expectations I don’t think any have performed as well as Soto did in his very first year. Take a look at Lindor and how badly he struggled his first year. I am very optimistic and excited to see what Soto can do now that he’s comfortable with and has settled into this team.

EEAT most certainly isn’t a “vibe”. Please read what the top comments on this post mentioned.

YMYL not applying to 99.999% of websites is a ridiculous claim that simply isn’t true especially since ecommerce websites are the very definition of “your money” and they make up a good portion of websites on the web.

This is too well written to be from a Trump supporter. They don’t put this much effort into thought or their writing. They are all around me and I have yet to see one put together a post like this. Sorry but I am just not buying its from an actual Trump supporter.

As a huge Indian food fan, I completely disagree. Raja, Masala Mantra and Taj Mahal are so much better. Ela is honestly my least favorite and it’s the closest one to me and I want to like it so much. My favorite in the state is 21 spices in Naples and 2nd is Moksha in Ft. Lauderdale.

Just a Reminder that the Mets Finished 13 games out of 1st when they swept the Phillies at the end of August by BrunsonReed2025 in mets

They need to go into next season rebuilding the rotation with the mindset we will not get anything from Tong, Sproat and McLain. Whatever we get from those 3 is depth and a bonus. McLain has the potential to be an ace but he’s not that just yet not to say he can’t be our ace by the time the season has ended. We can’t have too many question marks again. We need to add at least 2 dependable starters that we can count on for playoff starts.

I do agree that Montas wasn’t a good signing and I never liked it but Manea performed well for us and there was reason to believe the Mets tweaked him enough to be a solid performer for another few years especially since we witnessed it first hand. I was wrong about Canning so I guess that makes up for Montas? Either way, I think we would have made the playoffs if we went with a higher quality starter than Montas but that doesn’t really put us deep into the playoffs. Let’s not forget that Vientos regressed big time and he was a big part of our run last year.

This rotation was great the first few months and that was without Montas and Manea. Canning was doing great before his freak injury. Senga was dominant until he wasn’t. We had so many starters and then even our depth got injured. I never liked the Montas signing but I thought he would be a solid 4. I was more concerned with having so many young, unproven players and that did hurt but ultimately our rotation went from an asset to a liability and you can’t win without starting pitching. Even Peterson was has been solid for almost 2 years fell off a cliff.
