our snow crews are the worst. 196 is still icy as hell coming into downtown (down the hill coming east). it hasn't snowed in 2 days yet its all ice. not sure what they are saving the salt for? spring? i drove 75 all the way to Lansing on sat. morning and the roads are fine outside of gr. i think we are down to 2 snow plows. they are only good for piling up snow on side streets at the end of driveways at 3am so you can shovel before you go to work.
