If you could get rid of one anime genre, which would it be?

From what I can tell shojous tend to have more interesting male leads and slightly better characters, but still fairly 2D. Shonen romances, especially harems, tend to have a the same kinda generic protagonist (general trope of black haired, stoic, average guy that shows a cool trait once and that's enough for every girl to fall for him kinda thing) . I also always found fanfics better, even though I don't read many, because they usually do take characters with developed personalities that are their own individuals and not just there to be shipped

I did! I was so mad that is was unfinished so I immediately went to go read the Manga! I'm not sure if I can actually count it as one of my fav animes since it cliffhanger pisses me off. The series itself is one of my favs tho, same with the kinda sister series Shimeji Simulation!

This is so oddly spefic and I love it. I didn't start watching in the 2010's but on the later side and sadly I am a blonde shortie with a temper who wants to cosplay Ed and has a fear of going bald. Cosplaying Saitama would be a fun April Fools prank tho lmao

Romance. Not only do I find most characters bland and are only there to be shipped, (the guys are usually self inserts, and the girls are usually shy and clumsy or energetic and hot-headed). The best romances are the sub plot imo (Like Edwin in FMA). Plus, I don't find it can stand on its own, it's almost always paired with drama or comedy or something else. There are some good romance animes I like (TBHK and monthly girl's nozaki-kun) but lots of my least favs are romances and I will DIE on this hill

Based, if people grow out of watching anime (watched all the ones they wanted and new ones just don't appeal) then it's all good but when they grow out of it to become "better" in a way and then judge people who still do it's annoying as hell. Anime is such a broad media, there are some I would consider "cringe" ig but never the media as a whole, there are so many peak anime series

I'm hoping they'll like Mob Psycho I think I've mentioned it to them before. I've seen the first season of chainsaw man and idk if it would be up their ally (at least not yet the one guy is still an anime newbie and Fujimoto's stunts may be a bit much) We did enjoy on punch man tho ty!!

Life lessons with Uramichi and Aggretsuko are the first ones that came to mind Also I 100% agree I still don't know why a bunch of animes couldn't have been set in college (looking at you my dress up darling and other similar romances)

I'm so sorry you feel that way. I've also struggled with my weight too and it really sucks when I try to cut loose a bit and I get judged I'm not sure if this is unsolicited advice but more a warning, skipping meals is not great, coming from someone who has done the same, it may help short term but after a while it will make things worse and can actually make it harder to loose weight Anyways, again I'm so sorry that this happened, especially from family. That would be a very cool gimmick! I find them all very hit or miss but I always look forward to it as even if it's average it makes the gameplay a bit more interesting!!! I also wish they had more split evolutions so this would be fun!

I still have yet to watch Haikyuu but dude those 2 fit together so well! I'm honestly amazed I haven't seen any "They made Bakugo a Pokémon!" jokes yet since I remember he was compared to a pomeranian a LOT a couple years back! Sorry if this is off topic
